Adobe Bridge is free to download from Adobe’s official Bridge product page. You’ll need an Adobe ID, an internet connection, and acceptance of Adobe’s license agreement to activate and use it. Check your computer against Adobe’s current system requirements before installing.
What Adobe Bridge does
Bridge is a creative asset manager for previewing, organizing, editing, and publishing creative files. Its tools include metadata editing, labels and ratings, keywords, collections, filters, search, photo import, batch renaming, and export. You can also open assets in Creative Cloud applications. Bridge helps manage creative files; it is not a replacement for Photoshop or another image-editing application.
Download Adobe Bridge from Adobe
- Open Adobe’s Adobe Bridge product page.
- Select the download action on the page and follow Adobe’s prompts to install Bridge.
- Sign in with an Adobe ID and accept the license agreement when prompted. An internet connection, Adobe ID, and license acceptance are required for activation and use.
Check Windows and macOS requirements
Adobe’s technical requirements, updated July 20, 2026, apply to Bridge 16.0 (October 2025) and later. They are minimum published specifications, not performance guarantees; check Adobe’s live Bridge system requirements before installing in case they have changed.

You can launch Bridge directly or open it from a supported Creative Cloud application. If Bridge is missing from an application’s options, choose Browse in Bridge; Adobe says this opens the Creative Cloud desktop app to help install the latest version. See Adobe’s instructions for launching Bridge.
