The Exynos 1380 leads the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 in the benchmark results reported by 91Mobiles, but that snapshot is not a guarantee that every phone using it will outperform every Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 phone. The chips differ in their published CPU and GPU details, manufacturing process claims, modem specifications, and platform features. For a buying decision, compare the specific handsets as well as the chipsets.
How do the Exynos 1380 and Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 compare on paper?
Samsung publishes more detail about the Exynos 1380 CPU clusters and GPU than Qualcomm provides on its public Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 product page. The process nodes and modem figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Advertised peak network rates are theoretical maxima, not expected everyday speeds.
| Specification | Samsung Exynos 1380 | Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| Process node | 5 nm FinFET, per Samsung Semiconductor | 6 nm, per Qualcomm |
| CPU | Four Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz | 64-bit Kryo CPU up to 2.3 GHz; Qualcomm’s public specification does not state the core-cluster configuration |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G68, five cores at 950 MHz | Adreno GPU; Qualcomm’s retrieved public specification does not give a model number |
| 5G modem | Integrated modem; Samsung advertises peak download up to 3.79 Gbps and upload up to 1.28 Gbps | Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF; Qualcomm advertises peak download up to 2.5 Gbps and sub-6 GHz/mmWave support |
| Other published platform features | NPU, triple ISP, support for image sensors up to 200 MP, and Full HD+ display refresh rates up to 144 Hz | Hexagon Vector eXtensions, Sensing Hub, Spectra Triple ISP, FHD+ up to 120 fps, and Quick Charge 4+ support |
Samsung describes the Exynos 1380 as having four Cortex-A78 CPUs for demanding workloads. That is manufacturer wording, not an independent assessment of how a particular phone performs. Modem capability and actual network speeds depend on the handset design, regional bands, carrier, and signal conditions; the advertised maxima should not be read as a direct real-world comparison.

What do the reported benchmark scores show?
In the comparison snapshot published by 91Mobiles, the Exynos 1380 scores higher in both listed headline benchmarks:
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
| Benchmark result | Exynos 1380 | Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 612,769 | 471,687 |
| Geekbench single-core | 1,025 | 936 |
| Geekbench multi-core | 2,962 | 2,213 |
91Mobiles also reports these AnTuTu component scores, in the order shown by its comparison page:
| AnTuTu component | Exynos 1380 | Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 198,174 | 150,469 |
| GPU | 132,614 | 90,187 |
| Memory | 125,832 | 103,962 |
| UX | 156,149 | 127,069 |
These figures are the scores displayed in 91Mobiles’ comparison. The page labels the results as 91Mobiles tests, but does not provide enough device and test-method detail to establish a controlled, universal head-to-head. Its reported publication or test year is not stated. A separate CPU-Monkey comparison, updated October 3, 2026, also favors the Exynos 1380 in its CPU benchmark comparison. Scores can vary with benchmark version, handset, cooling, firmware, and other test conditions.

Does a higher score mean a faster phone?
Not necessarily. A chipset is only one part of a phone’s performance. Cooling design, power limits, firmware, RAM, storage, and the software workload can affect how quickly a handset responds and how well it sustains performance. The 91Mobiles figures are useful as a directional comparison of that published test snapshot, not a promise about every device carrying either chip.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe listed Mali-G68 and Adreno specifications also do not establish which phone will deliver better sustained gaming. The available figures do not provide matched-device frame rates, temperatures, or thermal tests. Similarly, no directly comparable, named independent result establishes which chipset delivers longer real-world battery life.

Which details matter when choosing between phones?
Start with the exact phone models rather than choosing on chipset name alone. Samsung’s Galaxy A35 5G is one handset listed with the Exynos 1380 by 91Mobiles, but its phone-level behavior should not be treated as interchangeable with a generic chipset score. A comparable Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 handset and its regional version should be assessed on its own specifications and testing.
- Performance: Look for benchmark results from the exact handset, with the benchmark version and test conditions stated. Sustained tests are more informative for long gaming or demanding workloads than a brief peak score.
- Memory and storage: Compare the capacities and configurations in the specific phone listings. The cited chipset comparison does not establish official memory-configuration differences between the platforms.
- Connectivity: Check the phone’s supported bands and regional variant, then confirm compatibility with your carrier. Chipset modem maxima alone do not guarantee local coverage or speed.
- Everyday ownership: Consider screen, battery capacity, charging implementation, software support, price, and handset reviews. These are phone-level factors, not conclusions supplied by the processor benchmark scores.
Verdict: which chipset is better?
On the available published benchmark snapshot, the Exynos 1380 comes out ahead of the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 in AnTuTu and Geekbench, and it has more fully specified CPU and GPU details on its manufacturer’s page. That makes it the stronger choice on the evidence presented here, not a universal winner for performance, gaming, battery life, or network experience. Compare the actual phones and reliable device-level tests before deciding.
