For most households interested in UGREEN’s storage, smart-home and advertised AI features, the HA100 is the more cautious starting point; the HA100 Pro is aimed at heavier local-AI workloads. Neither model should be chosen on its TOPS figure alone: UGREEN has not published independent performance benchmarks, and the reviewed information does not establish HomeAgent as a general-purpose developer workstation.
As of October 7, 2026, HomeAgent is being offered through a crowdfunding campaign, not ordinary retail. The campaign page says the Kickstarter launch is November 17, 2026, with estimated shipping from late February 2027 for HA100 and late April 2027 for HA100 Pro. Those dates and terms can change. UGREEN’s campaign page describes the current offer and its limitations.
Which UGREEN HomeAgent model fits your needs?
Choose by the job you need the system to do, not by a general wish for “more AI.” The HA100 is the lower-cost HomeAgent model; the HA100 Pro advertises substantially more compute and twice the memory. UGREEN also lists the MA100, but it is a separate, much higher-end system rather than simply the next HomeAgent tier.

| Model | Advertised configuration | Campaign price display as of October 7, 2026 | Best-supported fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| HomeAgent HA100 | 26 TOPS; 16GB memory; up to 96TB storage; one M.2 NVMe slot dedicated to AI models. UGREEN’s model card says LPDDR5, while its detailed copy says DDR5. | $799 Super Early Bird; $1,599 displayed MSRP | Households prioritizing storage, home controls and UGREEN’s described AI features without a defined need for greater local-AI capacity. |
| HomeAgent HA100 Pro | 205 TOPS; 32GB LPDDR5; up to 96TB storage; higher-speed SSD expansion options. | $2,699 Super Early Bird; $5,399 displayed MSRP | A buyer with a specific, heavier local-AI workload that could benefit from the higher advertised compute and memory. |
| MasterAgent MA100 | 2,070 TFLOPS (Sparse FP4); 128GB memory; up to 128TB storage. | $9,999 Super Early Bird; $19,999 displayed MSRP | A distinct system positioned for more demanding workloads, not a directly comparable HomeAgent upgrade. |
Prices are UGREEN’s campaign-page displays, not verified retail prices. The campaign page describes the Super Early Bird offer and says deposit holders make a later reward pledge on Kickstarter. Android Central reported the same current prices and the changes from earlier campaign figures on October 1, 2026. UGREEN campaign details; Android Central’s October 1, 2026 report.

The compute figures are advertised hardware claims, not measured model speed, tokens per second, or proof that a particular AI workload will run well. The MA100’s TFLOPS figure also uses a different unit and stated basis from the HomeAgent TOPS figures, so the headline numbers should not be compared as though they were equivalent benchmarks.
When the HA100 makes more sense
Consider the HA100 if your primary interest is a home hub for storage, photos, camera events and connected-device control, and you cannot name a workload that needs more capacity. Its advertised AI-model expansion slot is relevant, but the available product information does not fully explain which models or developer workflows it supports. Confirm the final memory specification: UGREEN’s page uses both LPDDR5 and DDR5 wording for the HA100.
When to consider the HA100 Pro
The Pro is worth investigating when you have a concrete local-AI workload that may benefit from its advertised 205 TOPS and 32GB memory. Those specifications alone do not establish that a preferred model, agent stack or concurrent workload is supported or fast enough. Seek shipping-product benchmarks and compatibility details before paying more for expected performance.

- Entry-level NAS Personal Storage:UGREEN NAS DH2300 is your first and best NAS made easy. It is designed for beginners who want a simple, private way to store videos, photos and personal files, which is intuitive for users moving from cloud storage or external drives and move away from scattered date across devices. This entry-level NAS 2-bay perfect for personal entertainment, photo storage, and easy data backup (doesn't support Docker or virtual machines).
- Set Your Devices Free, Expand Your Digital World: This unified storage hub supports massive capacity up to 64TB.*Storage drives not included. Stop Deleting, Start Storing. You can store 22 million 3MB images, or 2 million 30MB songs, or 43K 1.5GB movies or 67 million 1MB documents! UGREEN NAS is a better way to free up storage across all your devices such as phones, computers, tablets and also does automatic backups across devices regardless of the operating system—Window, iOS, Android or macOS.
- The Smarter Long-term Way to Store: Unlike cloud storage with recurring monthly fees, a UGREEN NAS enclosure requires only a one-time purchase for long-term use. For example, you only need to pay $459.98 for a NAS, while for cloud storage, you need to pay $719.88 per year, $2,159.64 for 3 years, $3,599.40 for 5 years. You will save $6,738.82 over 10 years with UGREEN NAS! *NAS cost based on DH2300 + 12TB HDD; cloud cost based on 12TB plan (e.g. $59.99/month).
- Blazing Speed, Minimal Power: Equipped with a high-performance processor, 1GbE port, and 4GB RAM on Board, this NAS handles multiple tasks with ease. File transfers reach up to 125MB/s—a 1GB file takes only 8 seconds. Don't let slow clouds hold you back; they often need over 100 seconds for the same task. The difference is clear.
- Let AI Better Organize Your Memories: UGREEN NAS uses AI to tag faces, locations, texts, and objects—so you can effortlessly find any photo by searching for who or what's in it in seconds. It also automatically finds and deletes similar or duplicate photo, backs up live photos and allows you to share them with your friends or family with just one tap. Everything stays effortlessly organized, powered by intelligent tagging and recognition.
Why the MA100 is not a like-for-like comparison
UGREEN presents the MA100 as a separate, higher-end system, with a different compute metric and larger advertised memory and storage ceilings. The headline figures do not provide a fair performance comparison with either HomeAgent model because they use different units and measurement bases.
What HomeAgent is designed to do
UGREEN describes HomeAgent as a local-AI home hub that combines storage, Uliya voice interaction, smart-home control, and camera and photo features. The company advertises natural-language questions about camera events and family photos, device control, automations, camera-event summaries and keyword search, and local organization of photos and files. It says the system supports UGREEN products and compatible third-party devices through open protocols. These are vendor descriptions, not independent compatibility or performance tests. UGREEN HomeAgent campaign page.
T3’s September 11, 2026 launch coverage likewise describes a combination of local AI, NAS-style storage, security and smart-home controls, and reports support for third-party Matter devices. That launch coverage is not a substitute for checking whether a particular device or feature works with the final product. T3’s September 11, 2026 report.

UGREEN also lists optional campaign add-ons: SynCare indoor, PoE and battery/solar cameras; Gallery smart frames; and a Smart Speaker for Uliya. They are not included by default, and UGREEN says some features require a HomeAgent model. Add-on availability and estimated shipping dates differ from those of the hub.
Can HomeAgent run your AI project locally?
The clearest fit supported by the available product information is a home-centered project: local file or photo search, camera-event summaries, natural-language home control and automations. If your project depends on a particular model, software stack or integration, the published information reviewed here is not enough to confirm compatibility.
UGREEN advertises an AI-model expansion slot on HA100 and higher-speed SSD expansion options on the Pro, but does not fully document model installation, public APIs, supported developer workflows, operating-system replacement or integration boundaries in the campaign material. Do not assume support for a specific model, container workload, Home Assistant workflow or agent stack without current compatibility or developer documentation.

Before choosing a model, write down the requirements that determine whether the hardware is suitable:
- The exact model and runtime you intend to use, plus the memory and storage it requires.
- Expected concurrent tasks and the performance level the project needs.
- Whether cloud APIs are acceptable, or whether all processing must stay local.
- The cameras and smart-home devices the project must integrate with.
- Your storage footprint and the cost of the final drive configuration.
- Your tolerance for a crowdfunding purchase and uncertain delivery timing.
What “local” means—and what still needs the internet
UGREEN says supported local features store and process files, photos, videos, surveillance footage and locally generated AI results on HomeAgent rather than on UGREEN cloud servers. The company also says some core features continue on the local network after activation and Uliya model downloads. These are UGREEN’s claims about supported functions, not an independent security assessment.
Internet access is still required for several setup and connected features, according to UGREEN:

Without internet access, UGREEN says local security events can still be viewed in Surveillance Center, but system-level push alerts cannot be sent to a phone. In other words, “local” does not mean every feature works without an internet connection.
UGREEN says HomeAgent is TRUSTe certified in the US and that additional certifications and standards are in progress. Treat this as a vendor-reported certification statement; the campaign page does not establish the status of those other certifications. UGREEN’s stated privacy and connectivity details.
What to check before pledging
UGREEN’s page says a deposit is not a final purchase: deposit holders receive access to a reward link, and the pledge is completed on Kickstarter. Android Central reported on October 1, 2026 that UGREEN moved the Kickstarter start from October 27 to November 17 and lowered the displayed MSRPs and Super Early Bird prices. The current campaign page gives the November 17 start date. Because campaign offers and schedules can change, recheck the live terms before committing.
