Does it really have a 200MP camera and 7,000mAh battery?
200MP rear main camera
Yes. Vivo lists a 200MP f/1.88 main camera with autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS); the launch announcement identifies its sensor as HP5. The second rear camera is a 2MP depth camera, rather than another high-resolution general-purpose camera. The main camera supports up to 30× digital zoom and 4K or 1080p recording. These details describe the hardware and listed modes, not independently measured image quality.
7,000mAh battery and 90W charging
Yes, with an important capacity distinction: Vivo lists 7,000mAh as typical capacity and 6,870mAh as rated capacity for the single-cell battery. The listed charging specification is 90W, and the phone also supports OTG reverse charging. Vivo says actual charging power varies by scenario, so 90W should be read as a specification rather than a guarantee that every charging session reaches that power.

Vivo also promotes 60 months of sustained smooth use. The company qualifies that claim: it does not promise completely lag-free operation, and device aging, network conditions and usage habits can affect the experience. It is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee of performance for five years.
Water and dust resistance: what IP68 and IP69 mean here
Vivo states that the Y500 Pro meets IP68 and IP69 test levels and refers to certification under Chinese standard GB/T 46367-2025. Its product-page footnotes describe IP68 testing in still fresh water at 1.5m for 30 minutes, with a limited temperature difference, and IP69 testing using specified hot-water spray conditions. These controlled tests do not make the phone damage-proof or suitable for every liquid exposure.

Vivo cautions against exposure to non-fresh water, says protection may decline with wear, and states that liquid damage is not covered by warranty. The company specifically says the phone is not a professional waterproof device. Vivo’s product page and footnotes provide the rating qualifications and warranty caveats.

Vivo lists support for China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Broadcasting Network 5G and 4G. That does not establish compatibility with carriers in other countries: check the exact frequency bands and carrier requirements before importing a V2516A, as well as the seller’s warranty terms and the software version on the unit.
