Both advertise 120 Hz AMOLED displays. There is no verified current India price gap in the official specifications, so compare same-day prices for matching variants before deciding which offers better value.
Nothing Phone (3a) Pro vs realme P3 5G: specs at a glance

Which phone has the better performance?
Nothing lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while realme lists the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. Those are useful hardware distinctions, but the cited manufacturer pages do not provide controlled comparative benchmarks. They therefore do not support a definitive claim that one phone is faster for everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads.

How do the displays compare?
Both manufacturers list AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Nothing specifies a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate; realme specifies a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel at 1080 × 2400. Nothing’s listed screen is larger, while the listed refresh-rate ceiling is the same.
Brightness figures should not be compared unless their measurement categories and conditions match. Manufacturer labels can describe different brightness modes, so a higher number in one category is not automatically a like-for-like result.
Which phone has the better camera?
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is the more zoom-oriented option on paper. Nothing lists a three-camera rear system that includes a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera; realme lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary rear camera for the P3 5G.

This describes the hardware, not which phone takes better photographs. The specifications do not establish image processing, low-light results, portrait quality, or real-world zoom quality. Choose Nothing if having a dedicated periscope telephoto camera is a priority, but consult comparable photo tests if overall image quality is the deciding factor.
Which has better battery life and charging?
realme lists a 6000 mAh typical battery capacity and a 5860 mAh minimum capacity. Nothing lists 5000 mAh. That gives the realme P3 5G the higher stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot predict screen time: display settings, signal strength, software, and workload also affect endurance.

For charging, Nothing advertises 50 W fast charging and realme specifies 45 W, with a 45 W adapter included in the P3 5G package according to its specifications page. The wattage figures do not establish full-charge times, which can depend on charging conditions and how charging speed changes as the battery fills.

realme says the P3 5G meets IP69, IP68, and IP66 levels under IEC 60529-2013 in normal use. The company also warns that resistance is not permanent and can diminish with ordinary wear; its page says immersion-related damage is not covered by warranty. These qualifications matter: an IP rating is not a guarantee that a phone is waterproof or that liquid damage will be repaired.

realme lists a protective case and screen-protection film among the P3 5G package contents. Nothing’s international Phone (3a) Pro page says a screen protector is pre-applied, but packaging may differ by market or seller. Check the contents for the specific India unit you plan to buy rather than assuming every box is identical.
What is the price difference in India?
A reliable current price difference is not established by the cited official specification pages. realme announced that the P3 5G would launch in India on March 19, 2025, as part of its India-exclusive P series, but that launch information does not establish today’s retail price.
To make a fair comparison, check both phones on the same date and match RAM and storage. Record the seller and whether the displayed amount depends on a bank offer, exchange, or other condition. A launch price or an unmatched listing can give a misleading impression of the price gap.
