As of October 7, 2026, Samsung’s Germany Samsung Wallet partner page lists Deutsche Bank, Postbank, Norisbank, Trade Republic Bank, N26, Klarna, TF Bank, and Vimo Pay. That list is a starting point—not a guarantee that every card from each provider works. Samsung Pay can also mean Samsung’s own virtual card linked to a bank account, which follows different eligibility rules.
Which banks and providers does Samsung list for Samsung Pay in Germany?
Samsung’s live Samsung Wallet partner page names these partners in Germany:
- Deutsche Bank
- Postbank
- Norisbank
- Trade Republic Bank
- N26
- Klarna
- TF Bank
- Vimo Pay
Samsung says partner card functionality concerns debit and credit cards, with Visa and/or Mastercard depending on the partner. The page does not establish that every card product, network, or card variant from a named provider is supported. Check the exact card in Samsung Wallet or confirm with its issuer.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteDoes the bank list mean your own card will work?
Not necessarily. There are two different ways someone might mean “use Samsung Pay with my bank.” One is adding an eligible bank-issued card to Samsung Wallet. The other is applying for Samsung’s own virtual card, issued in cooperation with Solaris, and linking a bank account for identification. An account that qualifies for the second route is not thereby confirmed as an eligible issuer for the first.

For a bank-issued card, verify the issuer, exact card product, and Visa or Mastercard network. Samsung’s partner page and the card-add flow in Wallet are the best places to start; the issuer can confirm product-specific eligibility.
What about cooperative banks and Deutsche Bank?
Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe
On September 21, 2026, Samsung announced that customers of the Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe—including Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken, Sparda-Banken, PSD banks, and other cooperative institutions—could add eligible Mastercard and Visa cards. Samsung described the group as comprising more than 600 banks in Germany. That is Samsung’s group-level figure, not a count of individually listed Wallet partners or a promise that every member institution’s cards work. See Samsung’s announcement and verify the specific card.

Deutsche Bank
Samsung announced on March 12, 2026, that Deutsche Bank customers could add credit and debit cards beginning in March 2026. Samsung’s general partner page lists Postbank and Norisbank separately. Read the Deutsche Bank announcement for the launch details, then check your specific card in Wallet.
Can you link an account from a bank that is not on the partner list?
Possibly for Samsung’s own virtual-card route, but that does not add the bank’s own card to Wallet. Samsung’s eligibility guidance, updated July 7, 2026, says the account-link and identification process may work with banks that issue a German IBAN and meet technical and administrative requirements. Samsung’s FAQ puts it this way: “Which bank you use does not matter, as long as it is based in Germany and meets the technical and administrative requirements.” This describes the bank-account identification route, not blanket support for bank-issued cards.

Samsung says online banking and two-factor authentication are required for the linked account. Its described verification process excludes business and savings accounts. Signup assessment determines which product option is offered, so eligibility to link an account does not guarantee approval for a particular card or access to Splitpay. Review Samsung’s eligibility requirements for current conditions.

How to check whether your card is supported
- Open Samsung’s Germany partner page and see whether your card issuer is listed.
- Identify the exact card product and whether it is Visa or Mastercard; a listed provider alone does not confirm that card variant.
- Open Samsung Wallet on a compatible Galaxy device and follow the add-card flow. If the card cannot be added, ask the issuer whether that specific card is eligible for Samsung Wallet in Germany.
- If you want Samsung’s virtual-card route instead, check the eligibility requirements for the account-linking and identity process. Do not treat a German IBAN alone as approval.
