Jesse is waiting at the end of The Underpass Fault. Follow Dylan’s childhood-memory route through the Christmas and family memories, complete the promise memory, then cross the dark corridor and final floating slabs to the illuminated clearing. Interact with adult Jesse there.
How to reach Jesse’s reunion location
The objective is reported as “Find Jesse and Talk to Her.” The route moves through a dreamlike area of floating, leaf-covered platforms and projected memories. Follow the memories in sequence rather than looking for Jesse at the beginning of the section. The route and labels below are reported by walkthroughs, rather than independently confirmed by Remedy.

Follow the early childhood memories
Continue along the platforms through the Christmas and family memories. Walkthroughs report prompts including “We were happy” and “Everything was simple back then.” One identifies the Christmas memory with Dylan receiving the in-world game Severed Circle II.

Complete the promise memory
Continue to the later memory marked “We made a promise.” Guide the light-projected children along the route until the younger siblings reunite in the memory sequence.

Cross the final stretch
After the promise memory ends, turn into the dark corridor. Cross the remaining floating slabs toward the illuminated clearing.

Talk to Jesse
Adult Jesse waits in the clearing. Interact with her to continue the objective. Walkthroughs report two available dialogue responses: “You did take care of me” and “You were just a kid too.” They describe either response as selectable.
What to know about the route details
The memory prompts, sequence, dialogue choices, and objective wording are reported by two walkthroughs updated September 25, 2026. Remedy’s official CONTROL Resonant page identifies the game as a sequel to CONTROL starring Dylan Faden, but does not independently confirm this mission route. If exact in-game wording matters, treat the walkthrough labels as reported text rather than official confirmation.

Remedy’s June 2, 2026 release announcement gives September 24, 2026 as the launch date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and says physical and digital editions were available for pre-order at that time. Remedy’s game page also lists Mac and GeForce NOW. The announcement says the Mac version would follow later in 2026; current retailer stock and platform availability may vary.
