Price of iQOO Z9 5G in India
The phone’s March 2024 launch prices and October 2026 observed listings differ substantially. The later figures are dated snapshots; check the seller’s page for availability and final price before buying.

The 2024 effective prices included a ₹2,000 bank discount; the launch announcement also described three-month no-cost EMI. Those were launch offers, not evidence of offers still available in October 2026. iQOO’s March 2024 announcement named Amazon.in as a sales channel, but that does not establish current stock or a live listing. What the specifications mean in practice
Display and performance
The 120 Hz AMOLED display combines a high refresh rate with a 1080 × 2400 resolution. iQOO’s 1800-nit figure is a local peak-brightness claim, not a stated brightness level for the entire panel under every condition. For performance, iQOO publishes an AnTuTu V10 result of 734,924 from its laboratory using the 8GB+256GB model. The company says scores can change with storage, software and test environment, so treat it as a vendor test result rather than a guaranteed score for every device.
Cameras
The rear camera setup is centered on a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS. The secondary 2 MP depth camera does not provide the wider field of view an ultra-wide camera would; no ultra-wide camera is listed. 91mobiles specifies a 16 MP front camera and 4K recording at 30 fps. Its review summary describes daylight main-camera results and portraits positively, while identifying limited camera versatility as a drawback.

Battery and charging
Keep the two battery figures distinct: 5,000 mAh is the typical capacity, while 4,900 mAh is the rated capacity disclosed by iQOO. The 44 W charging figure comes from 91mobiles. iQOO also says its laboratory simulation found at least 80% capacity after 1,460 complete charging cycles, with testing at 23°C ± 2°C. That simulated result is not a guarantee for every owner; the company notes real outcomes vary by device, environment and usage.

The phone was listed with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. 91mobiles reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates; buyers should consider that limited support horizon when weighing the phone against newer options. The IP54 rating indicates the protection level iQOO specifies, but does not make the device waterproof. iQOO expressly notes that liquid damage is not covered by warranty.

Which iQOO Z9 5G variant should you consider?
Both official-store configurations have 8 GB RAM; the choice is between 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage. The 256 GB model provides twice the built-in storage, while iQOO’s product page also claims expansion by up to 1 TB. Compare prices for the exact variant and check whether it is in stock: the October 2026 figures above do not establish a generally available selling price.
