The Kambrook KFP800BSS is a discontinued 800 W food processor with a listed 2 L bowl, two speeds and pulse, and attachments for chopping, dough, whisking, slicing and shredding. Its specifications and intended uses are documented, but the available evidence does not establish how it performs in controlled testing. Owner feedback is mixed, and current stock and replacement-part availability are unverified—so check the exact model, condition and return terms before buying.
What the KFP800BSS includes
Kambrook’s instruction booklet identifies the KFP800BSS as the Power Drive Direct food processor. It lists an 800 W motor, a 2 L processing bowl, two speeds plus pulse, a wide feed chute with a removable smaller chute, non-skid suction feet and storage for blades. Target Australia’s product listing also describes an 800 W direct-drive motor and attachments for processing, whisking, dough, slicing and shredding. The booklet depicts a grating blade as well. Kambrook’s product documentation and Target Australia’s listing are the sources for these specifications.
The 2 L figure describes the bowl, not a guarantee that every ingredient can be processed up to that volume. The booklet marks a maximum food level; follow that mark and the instructions for the particular task.
What it is designed to do
The booklet describes several intended uses for the included tools. These are manufacturer instructions, not independent findings about speed, consistency or capacity in practice.

- Chopping and processing: use the processing blade.
- Dough: use the dough blade.
- Whisking: use the whisking disc.
- Slicing and shredding: use the relevant discs.
- Grating: the booklet also depicts a grating blade.
Safety points to follow
The instruction booklet (issue B14) warns: “The processing blades are extremely sharp, handle with care at all times.” It directs users not to put hands, knives or other utensils into the feed chute and to use the food pusher instead. It also describes a bowl-and-lid interlock, and says to switch off and unplug the processor before disassembly or cleaning. Check the booklet supplied with your own unit for its exact operating and care instructions.
The booklet advises keeping the appliance away from heat and leaving at least 20 cm between it and walls, curtains or other materials sensitive to heat or steam, to allow air circulation.

ProductReview.com.au displays a 3.7 rating from nine reviews, observed in 2026. This is a small, anecdotal set of platform reviews, not a representative survey or a controlled reliability test. Some reviewers describe useful chopping, dough preparation, capacity or compact tool storage. Others mention noise, parts that feel light, a unit that did not work on arrival, or a spindle breaking during an attempt to grate cheese. CHOICE’s database lists the KFP800BSS, notes six blades and labels the model “Discontinued.” Its performance and ease-of-use scores are member-only on the surfaced page, so no public test result can be stated here. Target’s product page lists specifications, but current stock was not confirmed. CHOICE’s listing establishes the discontinued status, not present-day availability.

If considering remaining retail stock or a second-hand unit, confirm the exact model number and inspect the condition of the bowl, lid, interlock, blades, discs, pusher and spindle. Ask the seller to demonstrate operation if practical, and check the return policy and warranty terms that apply to that specific sale. Replacement-part supply has not been established, so do not assume a missing or damaged attachment can be replaced.

The KFP800BSS has a clearly described set of core features and tools on paper, but the available evidence is not enough to judge its real-world processing performance or long-term reliability. Its discontinued status and unverified stock and parts supply make condition and seller terms especially important. Treat it as a possible purchase only after checking the individual unit and what support, if any, comes with it.
