The REDMI Turbo 5 has the stronger-looking performance platform and a much larger listed battery; the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G offers a larger display, a 200MP main camera and faster wired charging. Those are manufacturer specifications, not proof of real-world performance, camera quality or battery life. There is no meaningful direct price difference to calculate from the listings available: Xiaomi’s UK price for the Note 13 Pro+ and India price for the Turbo 5 cover different markets and configurations.

Which phone has the better performance specifications?

On paper, the REDMI Turbo 5 has the newer and higher-clocked platform in these regional listings: Xiaomi India specifies a Dimensity 8500 Ultra with a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz, compared with the Note 13 Pro+’s Dimensity 7200-Ultra at up to 2.8GHz on Xiaomi UK’s page. That makes the Turbo 5 the more compelling specification choice if processor platform is your priority.

Clock speed and model name alone do not establish how quickly either phone performs in everyday use, sustained workloads or games. The cited product information does not provide comparable independent benchmark or thermal testing, so it cannot establish a real-world performance winner.

Display: larger screen or higher claimed peak brightness?

The Note 13 Pro+ has the larger screen at 6.67 inches, versus 6.59 inches for the Turbo 5. Both listings specify AMOLED panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi gives the Turbo 5 a higher listed peak-brightness figure—up to 3500 nits against 1800 nits for the Note 13 Pro+—but peak brightness is a manufacturer specification and does not by itself show how the displays compare in typical viewing conditions.

The Turbo 5’s listed resolution is 2756 × 1268, while the Note 13 Pro+ is 2712 × 1220. These figures should be read alongside screen size and actual display quality, not as a standalone measure of which screen looks better.

Cameras: 200MP versus a 50MP OIS main camera

The Note 13 Pro+ lists a 200MP optically stabilized main camera, plus an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. The Turbo 5 lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, with a 20MP front camera; Xiaomi UK lists a 16MP front camera for the Note 13 Pro+.

The Note’s larger megapixel count does not prove better photos. Sensor behavior, image processing, lens quality and shooting conditions matter, and the cited specifications do not include comparable photo or video tests. Choose based on camera samples and tests from the relevant versions if camera performance is decisive.

Battery capacity and charging

Xiaomi lists a 7540mAh battery for the India-market Turbo 5, compared with a 5000mAh typical battery for the Note 13 Pro+. The higher capacity makes the Turbo 5 look more promising for endurance on paper, but battery life cannot be inferred from capacity alone: display use, software, network conditions and workload also affect it. The cited sources do not establish comparative runtime in independent testing.

The Note 13 Pro+ lists 120W wired charging, while the Turbo 5 India page lists 100W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. These are different attributes: the Turbo 5 has the larger stated capacity, but the Note has the higher stated wired charging wattage. Wattage alone does not establish how long a full charge takes in practice.

Durability and regional availability

Xiaomi’s UK product page advertises IP68 for the Note 13 Pro+. Xiaomi India lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Turbo 5. Ratings are manufacturer-listed specifications; check the terms for the specific regional model rather than assuming listings or protections are identical everywhere.

The cited Turbo 5 product information is for India. Before buying it in another country, confirm that the model is officially sold there, supports the local network bands, has an applicable warranty and comes from a legitimate seller. Xiaomi also notes that Note 13 Pro+ configurations and package contents may vary by region, and that 5G availability depends on regional availability and operator support.

What is the price difference?

A single direct price difference cannot be stated from the official listings cited here. Xiaomi UK displayed the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G at £449, while Xiaomi India Store listed the REDMI Turbo 5 at ₹41,999 for 8GB/256GB. These observed prices are from different countries, currencies and market contexts, and the Note listing does not establish an equivalent configuration for a like-for-like comparison. Do not subtract or convert them into a purported price gap.

Prices and stock can change. For a useful comparison, check same-day listings in your country for equivalent RAM and storage, and distinguish official prices from sale prices or retailer offers. The cited pages are Xiaomi UK’s Note 13 Pro+ purchase page and Xiaomi India Store’s phone listings.

Which should you choose?

  • Consider the REDMI Turbo 5 if its India-listed specifications fit your market and priorities: a Dimensity 8500 Ultra, a 7540mAh battery and listed IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings.
  • Consider the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G if you prefer its larger 6.67-inch display, 200MP OIS main-camera specification or 120W wired charging.
  • For either phone, base a purchase on local configuration, warranty and same-market price; use independent performance, battery and camera tests to judge real-world differences.
