In the manual-mode editor, right-click one element, choose Copy, then right-click an empty area in the destination section or page and choose Paste. The documented workflow copies one element at a time; to reuse a whole section, use the separate section-copy command.

Copy and paste one element

  1. In the manual-mode editor, right-click the element you want to reuse, such as a text box, image, button, or shape, and select Copy.

  2. Go to the destination section or page on the same website.

  3. Right-click an empty area in the destination section and select Paste. The element-copy guide documents this context-menu workflow and the available Windows shortcuts: CTRL+X, CTRL+C, and CTRL+V. On a Mac, Control-click the trackpad to open the context menu; the guide does not specify a Mac keyboard-shortcut equivalent.

Copy an entire section instead

If you want to reuse a larger page unit rather than a single element, right-click an empty part of the section and choose Copy section. Go to the destination page or section, right-click an empty area, and choose Paste section. The pasted section appears below the selected section. Copying and pasting blog and store sections is not supported.

Copying, duplicating, and moving are different actions

The editor lists Copy, Paste, and Duplicate as separate organization actions. Its element-copy workflow supports only one element at a time, so selecting several objects does not create a group that can be pasted. The editor documents moving multiple selected elements together, including between sections, but excludes slideshow, blog, and product sections from that move behavior. Moving a group is not the same as copying it.
