BlueStacks’ December 17, 2020 AFK Arena guide recommended Safiya, Brutus, Khasos, Skriath, and Skreg as five Maulers to pursue. Treat that list as a historical recommendation, not a current tier list: later balance changes, present-day availability, and the current team meta have not been verified. The guide also named Antandra, Numisu, Vurk, and Satrana as honorable mentions. Read the original BlueStacks guide.
What the five Maulers do in the 2020 guide
The guide’s picks span area damage, frontline durability, and team support. The descriptions below summarize what BlueStacks wrote in 2020; skill effects and values should not be assumed to match current game mechanics.
Safiya: area damage and team effects
BlueStacks described Safiya as an area-damage mage. It said her Falling Sun could charge to deal up to 540% damage, and also cited projectile stuns, reduced defense for frontline enemies, and a skill that buffs allies while debuffing opponents. Those figures and ability descriptions are historical claims from the guide, not current verification.
Brutus: a durable frontline fighter
The article characterized Brutus as a tank whose spinning attack deals damage and restores health. It also said his damage and movement speed rise at low health. These are the guide’s 2020 descriptions rather than a checked account of his current abilities.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Khasos: support and lifesteal
BlueStacks presented Khasos as a team-support option, highlighting Rabid Thirst’s lifesteal benefit. It also reported that a +30 signature item gives Throwing Axe a guaranteed catch, energy restoration, and increased attack speed. The item level and effects are claims from the 2020 article and need current verification before using them for an upgrade decision.
Skriath: grouping enemies
The guide described Skriath as an area-damage mage whose Desert Vortex draws enemies toward the center. Its team-building point was that grouping opponents can help damage dealers hit them together; the article did not report independent formation testing.

The article offered a few role-based ideas, not a comprehensive formation plan. It connected Skriath’s grouping effect with damage dealers and proposed Brutus alongside Skreg on the frontline. Those examples can help explain why the heroes were selected, but they are not evidence of current synergy, rankings, or performance.

Because that mechanics statement was not dated or independently verified for current AFK Arena, check the in-game faction bonus or official game information before planning a lineup around it.
Playing AFK Arena on PC with BlueStacks
The guide promoted BlueStacks as a way to play the Android game on PC. It said Multi-Instance could be used to make gacha pulls through multiple accounts and that high-FPS settings could make animation smoother and graphics crisper. These are BlueStacks’ promotional statements in the article, not independent performance findings or guarantees for a current version.

Should you use this as a current Mauler ranking?
No. The list is useful as a dated snapshot of five heroes BlueStacks favored in December 2020, with four additional honorable mentions. It does not establish who is strongest now, whether the cited abilities and upgrades remain unchanged, or whether the suggested lineup ideas still work. Use current in-game descriptions and recent guidance to make present-day roster decisions.
