The Moto G57 Power’s larger battery is the clearest reason to choose it: Motorola lists 7,000mAh typical capacity, compared with 5,200mAh for the Moto G57. The core platform, display and camera specifications are presented as shared. Which is the better buy depends on the price for the same storage tier in your country—not on Motorola’s published €279 and €249 figures, which apply to different markets.
Specs comparison: Moto G57 vs Moto G57 Power
Motorola’s announcement presents the phones as closely related, with battery capacity the standout documented difference. Capacities below are manufacturer specifications, not independent runtime results.

Motorola’s announcement describes up to 128GB or 256GB storage across the family, but exact memory and storage options depend on market. Its India support page, for example, lists one G57 Power configuration: 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage. That page also lists Android 16 and 33W TurboPower charging for that regional variant. Motorola’s announcement instead mentions 30W charging support for the Power, so check the specification for the exact regional model before relying on a charging-speed claim. Motorola’s announcement and India support listing are the relevant manufacturer sources.

On Motorola’s typical-capacity figures, the G57 Power has 1,800mAh more battery capacity than the G57. Motorola also lists 6,790mAh as the Power’s rated capacity, distinct from its 7,000mAh typical figure. These numbers describe capacity, not how long either phone lasts: actual runtime depends on factors such as screen use, network conditions and workload, and no controlled battery comparison is established here.

Choose the Power if reducing charging frequency is a priority and the added capacity justifies its local price premium. Consider the G57 if its lower price in your market matters more and the shared features meet your needs. The capacity difference alone cannot establish a specific number of extra hours or days.
Are the screen, processor and cameras different?
Motorola identifies the same Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 platform and 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD for both models. It also lists the same camera setup: a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide rear camera and an 8MP front camera. These shared specifications do not prove that the phones produce identical photos in every situation; that would require direct testing.

What is the real price difference?
The published recommended prices are not a like-for-like comparison: Motorola cites €279 for the G57 Power in Europe and €249 for the G57 in the Middle East. Subtracting those figures would not give a meaningful price gap because they refer to different regions. Motorola also says availability may be limited to select markets.

The price gap is the difference between the current local offers you can actually buy, not between those two region-specific recommended prices.

What to check before buying
- Local model and price: Confirm both models are sold in your country and compare current prices from sellers serving that market.
- Memory and storage: Verify the exact RAM and built-in storage in the listing. The India support-page configuration for the Power is not a global specification.
- Network compatibility: Check that the precise regional SKU supports your carrier’s bands and services.
- Warranty: Confirm who provides the warranty and what it covers in your country.
- Charging specification: Check the regional listing rather than assuming one charging speed applies to every Power variant.
How to interpret the durability claims
Motorola lists IP64, Gorilla Glass 7i and MIL-STD-810H testing for both phones. The company says the devices were tested against 13 categories and 11 procedures under MIL-STD-810H. It also explains that the standard establishes a methodology for testing products against environmental stresses under controlled laboratory conditions, and that testing does not guarantee future performance. Motorola says damage from abuse is not covered by its standard warranty. Treat these as manufacturer-defined claims, not a promise that a phone is indestructible or safe from every kind of water or impact damage.
