The Corsair M75 AIR Wireless is a strong fit for FPS players who want a lightweight mouse with responsive tracking and a symmetrical, medium-large shell. Its main tradeoff is a stripped-back control layout: it has fewer extra buttons and less wheel functionality than a productivity-focused or MMO mouse. Battery life also depends heavily on whether you use Corsair’s 2.4 GHz Slipstream connection or Bluetooth.

What the Corsair M75 AIR Wireless offers

Corsair announced the M75 AIR on October 12, 2023, positioning it for competitive FPS gaming. Its listed weight is 60 g, and Corsair describes its shape as symmetrical. The manufacturer’s specifications include a Marksman optical sensor rated up to 26,000 DPI, 650 IPS tracking, up to 50G acceleration, 100% PTFE feet, optical main switches rated for 100 million clicks, one onboard memory profile, and a two-year warranty. These are Corsair specifications and claims, not independent test results. See Corsair’s product page and launch announcement.

Pros of the M75 AIR Wireless

Lightweight handling for FPS play

At 60 g according to Corsair, the mouse is designed for quick, low-effort movement. RTINGS says its low weight helps with quick, precise aiming. That can suit players who make frequent, fast adjustments, but it does not guarantee better aim for every person.

Strong sensor performance and low click latency

RTINGS evaluates the M75 AIR’s sensor performance as excellent and its click latency as remarkably low, describing it as a remarkable FPS gaming mouse. These are reviewer findings, rather than a promise of a particular competitive result. RTINGS’ changelog, updated November 26, 2024, gives a maximum polling rate of 1000 Hz; this is the more recent figure to use rather than older 2023 coverage that reported 2000 Hz. Review and update details are on RTINGS’ review page.

Symmetrical shape with a medium-large feel

RTINGS describes the shell as comfortable for most hand sizes and grip types, and characterizes it as medium-large—potentially a better fit for larger hands than smaller competitors. Shape and comfort are personal, so compare the dimensions and your preferred grip when possible. Although Corsair calls the body symmetrical, that alone does not establish equal usability for left- and right-handed players; check the side-button placement before choosing it for left-handed use.

Two wireless modes and wired use while charging

Corsair specifies up to 34 hours of battery life over 2.4 GHz Slipstream and up to 100 hours over Bluetooth. These are manufacturer estimates for different connection modes, not one universal runtime. Slipstream is the gaming-oriented wireless option, while Bluetooth is the longer claimed-runtime option. Corsair’s launch announcement says the mouse can also be used in USB wired mode while charging. The receiver stores in a compartment under the mouse.

Cons and compromises

Few extra controls

The M75 AIR has substantially fewer side buttons than dedicated MMO mice, according to RTINGS; TechRadar also lists the limited number of buttons as a drawback. That matters if you rely on many remappable commands for MMO abilities, shortcuts, or macros.

Less suited to productivity workflows

RTINGS notes that the scroll wheel lacks left- and right-tilt inputs and free-scrolling. Those omissions reduce convenience for workflows that use horizontal scrolling or rapid movement through long documents and spreadsheets.

Polling-rate reporting changed

TechRadar’s October 12, 2023 review described a 2000 Hz polling rate, while RTINGS’ review changelog updated November 26, 2024, reports a 1000 Hz maximum. The later RTINGS figure reflects the more recent information; do not treat the older number as the current maximum.

Price depends on region and timing

TechRadar recorded launch-era suggested retail prices of $149.99 in the US, £139.99 in the UK, and AU$249 in Australia in its October 12, 2023 review. Corsair’s US product page displayed $99.99 for one black model when accessed for this article. These are different dates and price contexts, not a current, like-for-like survey; check local pricing and stock before buying. See TechRadar’s review for its launch-era price context.

Who should buy the M75 AIR Wireless?

  • Consider it if low weight, responsive FPS controls, and a symmetrical medium-large shape matter more to you than extra buttons.
  • Look elsewhere if you need numerous MMO bindings, wheel tilt, or free-scrolling for work.
  • Check fit and handedness carefully if you have smaller hands, use a less common grip, or need side buttons positioned for left-handed use.

When comparing it with another gaming mouse, prioritize weight, shell size and shape, button count and placement, independently tested sensor and click latency, maximum polling rate, connection-specific battery estimates, and current local price. RTINGS’ comparison with Logitech’s G PRO X SUPERLIGHT says that model has slightly better sensor latency and glide, while the Corsair is larger and may suit larger hands better.
