The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the larger phone and adds an integrated S Pen, a 200 MP main camera and separate 3× and 5× optical telephoto cameras. Google’s Pixel 11 is smaller, with a 6.3-inch display and a three-camera system that includes a 5× telephoto. A current price difference cannot be calculated from the available official listings: Samsung’s $1,299.99 figure is the S24 Ultra’s U.S. starting launch price from 2024, while Google’s Pixel 11 comparison page lists no price.

Price difference: what can—and cannot—be compared

There is no reliable current price difference to report. Samsung announced the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the U.S. at a starting price of $1,299.99 in 2024, with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB configurations. That is a historical launch MSRP, not a current retail quote. Google’s official comparison page lists Pixel 11 specifications but no price. The pages also do not establish Pixel 11’s current purchase availability. Samsung’s 2024 U.S. announcement and Google’s Pixel comparison page therefore do not support subtracting one phone’s price from the other’s.

For a meaningful live comparison, check the same country, seller type, storage capacity and phone condition on the day you buy. Compare unlocked with unlocked, or the same carrier terms, and account for trade-in credits separately. Samsung notes that storage and availability can vary by region or carrier, so the U.S. launch details should not be treated as global pricing.

How the phones differ in everyday priorities

Screen size and stylus use

The S24 Ultra’s 6.8-inch display gives it a larger listed viewing area than the Pixel 11’s 6.3-inch screen. Samsung also integrates an S Pen, which its support guide identifies for tasks such as writing in Samsung Notes, searching in Samsung Internet and replying to messages. The Pixel listing does not identify an integrated stylus. The size difference is clear on paper, but comfort, reach and one-handed use depend on the person and are best judged by handling the phones.

Camera hardware and zoom

Samsung lists four rear camera roles, including distinct 3× and 5× optical telephoto cameras alongside a 200 MP wide camera. Google lists three rear cameras: wide, ultrawide and 5× telephoto, plus Super Zoom up to 30×. Those configurations give the S24 Ultra a dedicated shorter telephoto lens, while the Pixel listing emphasizes its 5× camera and higher digital-zoom ceiling. Megapixel counts and zoom labels alone do not establish which phone produces better photos; no controlled image comparison is available here.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G, US Version, 512GB, Titanium Black - Unlocked (Renewed)
  • 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.

Performance and storage

The S24 Ultra uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3; Pixel 11 uses Google Tensor G6. Both listed configurations have 12 GB of RAM. Samsung lists storage tiers up to 1 TB, while the Pixel comparison entry shown pairs 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage. These data identify the published options, not relative speed: no controlled benchmark establishes which device performs better.

Battery and charging

The listed typical capacities are close: 5,000 mAh for Samsung and 4,985 mAh for Google. Their minimum-rated figures are 4,855 mAh and 4,840 mAh respectively. Capacity does not predict how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use, and the manufacturers’ charging estimates use different stated conditions, so they are not a direct speed test.

Rank #3
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G, US Version, 512GB, Titanium Gray - Unlocked (Renewed)
  • 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.

For Samsung’s stated wired result, the 45 W adapter and 5 A USB-C cable are sold separately. Google specifies a separately sold 30 W USB-C PPS charger or higher for its estimate, and lists Qi2.2 Pixelsnap wireless charging up to 25 W. Check the retailer’s box contents and local charger compatibility rather than assuming an adapter is included.

Software features and support statements

Google’s comparison page lists Tensor G6 and Gemini features for Pixel 11; Samsung identifies Galaxy AI for the S24 series. Samsung says the S24 series receives seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, with availability and timing potentially varying by model and market. These are manufacturer statements, not an assessment of feature quality or the support experience.

Which phone fits which buyer?

  • Choose the S24 Ultra as the stronger specification fit if you specifically want a large 6.8-inch screen, an integrated S Pen, a 3× optical telephoto in addition to 5×, or Samsung’s listed 512 GB and 1 TB storage options.
  • Consider Pixel 11 if a 6.3-inch display better suits your preferred phone size, or if Google’s listed Tensor G6, Gemini features and Qi2.2 Pixelsnap charging align with what you want. Its current price and availability still need to be checked with a seller.
  • Decide on camera quality by comparing actual photos from both phones under similar conditions, not by selecting the larger megapixel number or zoom label. The specifications alone do not settle image quality.
  • Decide on battery life using independent, comparable tests or your own usage priorities. The listed capacities and charging claims do not establish comparative endurance.

What to verify before buying

  1. Set your country and preferred seller, then check live listings for both devices. The S24 Ultra’s $1,299.99 figure is its U.S. starting launch MSRP from 2024, not today’s guaranteed price; Google’s comparison page does not state a Pixel 11 price.
  2. Match storage as closely as possible. Samsung lists 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB; the Pixel entry on Google’s page shows 256 GB.
  3. Check whether each listing is new, refurbished or used, and whether it is unlocked or tied to a carrier. Do not compare a discounted or trade-in-dependent offer with an outright price without noting the difference.
  4. Confirm stock, included accessories and return terms with the seller. Charging accessories used for the manufacturers’ cited wired charging claims are sold separately.
  5. If size or stylus use matters, handle the phones in person when possible. The published screen diagonals do not determine how either phone feels in your hand.
