To see installed apps in Windows 11, open Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Use that page to browse the list or find an app by name. If you are checking disk space rather than looking for an app, open Settings > System > Storage instead.
Open the Installed apps page

Select Start, then open Settings. You can also press Windows key + I to open Settings.

Choose Apps in Settings.

Select Installed apps to view the list. Microsoft identifies this page as the place to see installed apps and programs: How to check if an app or program is installed in Windows.

Find an app another way
If you only need to launch or locate an app, the Start menu can be quicker than Settings. Open Start > All apps and browse the alphabetical list. Windows can also present All apps in category or grid views, depending on your Start menu settings. Microsoft explains the available views in Customize the Windows Start Menu.

Check app storage separately
The Installed apps list is for finding apps and their available controls; use Storage to inspect category-level disk use. Open Settings > System > Storage and select Installed apps in the storage breakdown. See Microsoft’s Storage settings in Windows.
If an app is missing or has no management option
A missing button on the Installed apps page does not by itself show that a desktop program is absent. Some traditional desktop programs are managed through Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Microsoft also notes that some apps built into Windows cannot be uninstalled. Its guidance on alternate locations and removal limits is in Uninstall or remove apps and programs in Windows.

Use Advanced options only when troubleshooting
For some apps, select the app’s More menu and then Advanced options. Windows may offer Repair or Reset, but those controls are not available for every app and are not needed just to inspect the list. Repair attempts to fix the app while retaining its data; Reset reinstalls or restores it and may remove app data. Follow Microsoft’s app-specific guidance at Repair apps and programs in Windows.

Press Windows key + I to open Settings, then use keyboard focus and arrow keys to move through Apps and Installed apps. Search the page for an app by name, and use the app’s More menu when you need its available controls.
