Colorlib’s 2026 collection brings together 43 free contact-form templates, each with a live demo and download. They range from simple message forms to fuller contact pages and structured sales inquiries. The key limitation: the downloads provide the front end only. To receive submissions or send email, connect each form to a backend or form service.

What the 43 templates include

The collection, published by Colorlib on September 28, 2026, groups its first 20 entries as Contact Form V01 through V20. The remaining options include other Colorlib contact-form designs, Appointment Form V10, and Pricing Table V11 with a sales form. Each entry has a live demo and a free download, according to Colorlib’s roundup.

The designs cover several practical needs:

  • Simple enquiries: Small forms with three or four fields suit general messages where you do not need to qualify a lead before replying.
  • Structured leads: Some forms ask about service, budget, company, phone number, or callback time. Colorlib points to V14, V19, Contact Forms 3–5, and Contact Form 18 for budget or service choices.
  • Different page layouts: Options include standalone form cards, split layouts with contact details beside the form, photo or gradient backgrounds, map placement, and a popup.

Use the live demos to compare the actual layout and fields before downloading. A design with more fields may help organize sales requests, but it also asks visitors for more information than a basic contact form.

How to choose a layout

For a general contact page

Start with a three- or four-field layout if visitors mainly need to send a message. Add only the details you need to respond; unnecessary fields can make the form harder to complete.

For agency or service enquiries

Choose a design with service or budget selectors when those answers will help route or qualify a request. The options Colorlib identifies for this use are V14, V19, Contact Forms 3–5, and Contact Form 18.

For a contact page with extra information

Pick a split layout if visitors need contact details alongside the form. Consider a map, image, gradient, or popup only if it serves the page’s purpose and fits the site. Map layouts in the collection are described as keyless Google Maps embeds; that is Colorlib’s description, not an independent check of the downloaded files.

Compatibility, code, and license

Colorlib says the main-list templates were rebuilt with HTML, CSS, and a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, without loading jQuery, Bootstrap files, or plugins. It claims they can run standalone or within Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. These are publisher-stated compatibility details; the downloads have not been independently tested here.

How to make a template send submissions

A downloaded layout does not deliver email by itself. Colorlib’s article puts it plainly: “The templates cover the front end only.” You need to connect the form’s submission to a server-side handler or a hosted form service that receives and processes submissions.

  1. Choose a submission handler. Colorlib names a PHP mail script, a serverless function, and services such as Formspree, Basin, or Web3Forms as examples. Its article does not compare their current pricing, features, privacy terms, or availability, so check those details directly before choosing.
  2. Connect the form. Set the form’s submission target and method to match the handler or service you selected, and ensure the fields use names that the receiver expects. Follow that handler’s setup instructions; the template alone does not configure this connection.
  3. Validate and label fields. Colorlib suggests HTML5 attributes such as required, type="email", and pattern for basic browser validation. JavaScript can add inline error messages and prevent a full-page submission round-trip. Make sure each visible label is associated with its input.
  4. Test with your site’s styles loaded. Parent CSS can change how fields look or behave. Test the form on the actual page, check required-field and email errors, and confirm a valid submission reaches the chosen handler.

What to verify before using a download

  • Confirm the demo’s fields and layout match the kind of enquiries your site receives.
  • Review the downloaded files and their license notice, including the credit-link requirement Colorlib states.
  • Check the markup and styles in the context of your site rather than assuming the demo will look identical after integration.
  • Test the complete submission path. A visible success state is not proof that the message reached your inbox or submission dashboard.
