To add an audio file you own in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode, upload it to the editor’s Media Library, copy its file URL, and place that URL in an HTML <audio controls> element inside an Embed Code element. Save the embed, then check it in preview or on your live site.
Embed an audio file you uploaded
- Add the embed element. In the editor, open Add elements, drag an Embed Code element to the spot where you want the player, select it, and choose Enter code. Hostinger’s instructions are in its custom-code guide.
- Upload your audio file. Open the editor’s Media Library and upload the file from your device. Open the uploaded file’s details and copy its file-path URL.
- Enter the player markup. Paste this into the embed editor, replacing
URLwith the copied file URL:<audio controls> <source src="URL"> </audio>Hostinger uses this HTML audio element in its manual-mode audio instructions.
- Save and check the result. Click Embed code to save the element. Preview the page or open the live site to check that the player appears and plays. If you changed the site, update it for the changes to appear online.
Use an HTTPS file URL and remove any spaces from the URL. Hostinger’s example uses an MP3 URL; its audio instructions do not specify a complete list of supported formats, a maximum file size, or browser compatibility details.
Use Spotify, SoundCloud, or a player widget instead
If you want a hosted track embed rather than a basic player that points to your uploaded file, copy the track’s embed code from Spotify or SoundCloud and add it through the same Embed Code element. Hostinger says to get the iframe code for the audio track. A third-party player widget, such as one made with Elfsight or CommonNinja, is another option; use the widget provider’s embed code. These are alternatives, not required services, and Hostinger’s guide does not compare their features.

If the player does not appear online
- Check that the source URL is the file URL copied from the Media Library, uses HTTPS, and contains no spaces.
- Save the embed and update the website, then check again in a preview or on the live page.
- If the code looks correct but a widget still does not appear online, Hostinger’s custom-code guide suggests clearing the browser cache. If that does not help, contact the widget provider.
