To sign in to Apple TV with a T-Mobile offer, first add or select the Apple TV benefit on your T-Mobile account, then follow its activation link and connect it to the Apple Account you want to use. You can complete activation on an iPhone or iPad, Android device, or web browser; you do not need an Apple TV box.
Before you start: check your T-Mobile account and offer
Have your T-Mobile ID and the Apple Account you want to link ready. T-Mobile says the person managing the benefit must be the Primary Account Holder or an Authorized User, and the account must not already have an Apple TV feature. If you recently transferred your number to T-Mobile, wait until the port is complete if activation does not work.
Eligibility and terms depend on your plan and account. T-Mobile’s offer page currently lists Apple TV for $3 per month on qualifying plans and a six-month trial on select plans; neither offer applies to every customer. Check the offer and cost summary shown in your T-Life app or T-Mobile account before submitting. The summary is the relevant price for your account, including any promotion and applicable taxes. Add Apple TV to your T-Mobile account
- In T-Life: Sign in with your T-Mobile ID, open the account or plan-management area, and look under services or data add-ons for Apple TV. Labels can vary by app version.
- On T-Mobile.com: Sign in, open the relevant line’s details, and choose the option to manage add-ons.
- Select Apple TV, review the offer, price, promotion terms, and any displayed taxes, then agree and submit. If offered a choice, you may be able to start the benefit now or in the next bill cycle.
T-Mobile’s instructions say the feature’s activation status may take up to 24 hours to refresh on screen. The redemption text or email may arrive when the feature is added, so look for that message even if the status indicator has not updated.

Activate Apple TV and link your Apple Account
After adding the benefit, select Apple TV in your T-Mobile account and choose Start Activation, or open the redemption link T-Mobile sent by text or email. Then use the path for your device:
On iPhone or iPad
- Open the Apple TV app.
- Choose Activate Apple TV when prompted.
- Sign in with the Apple Account you want linked to the subscription, then follow the prompts to enter or verify your T-Mobile mobile number.
- Wait for confirmation that the subscription is active.
On Android or in a web browser
- Open the Apple TV activation page from T-Mobile’s redemption message or account flow.
- Choose Activate Apple TV, then Sign In.
- Sign in with your Apple Account, or create one if you do not have one.
- Enter or verify your T-Mobile mobile number and wait for the subscription confirmation.
If you already use Apple TV, choose the Apple Account whose settings and viewing history you want to keep. Once activation is confirmed, open the Apple TV app or go to tv.apple.com and sign in with that linked account. What to know about sharing and changing the benefit
T-Mobile’s offer FAQ says one Apple TV subscription may be active per account. It can be shared with up to five family members through Apple Family Sharing, for six people total. The same Apple Account should be used if you want to retain its settings and history. Terms are described on T-Mobile’s offer page.
Removing the Apple TV feature stops T-Mobile from being the payment method. Cancellation timing and continued access can differ depending on whether you remove the feature or cancel the wireless account, so check the subscription details before changing service. Troubleshoot T-Mobile Apple TV activation
- Apple TV is not listed as an offer: Check the plan and account-specific offer in T-Life or on T-Mobile.com. Contact T-Mobile about plan eligibility, adding the feature, or billing.
- The redemption text or email did not arrive: Confirm which line receives account messages and ask T-Mobile to send a new redemption message.
- The activation link opens, but no subscription is confirmed: Repeat the activation flow and enter or verify the T-Mobile mobile number. An Authorized User may need the Primary Account Holder’s one-time PIN.
- The wrong Apple Account appears: Sign out or restart the redemption flow and use the Apple Account you intend to link. Existing subscribers should use the account they want associated with the T-Mobile benefit.
- The activation status has not updated: T-Mobile says the on-screen indicator can take up to 24 hours to appear.
- You cannot access or recover your Apple Account, or the Apple TV app has a problem: Contact Apple TV support. For adding or removing the T-Mobile feature, billing, or a missing redemption message, contact T-Mobile. Support routing is described at T-Mobile Support.
