Heroes of Esperia is AFK Arena’s limited PvP league event: win battles to earn trophies, climb through leagues, and pursue season rewards. The available sources do not verify an official PC client or supported PC setup method, so this guide explains the event without claiming that an emulator or other workaround is officially supported.
What is Heroes of Esperia?
Heroes of Esperia is a limited PvP competition described by AFK.Global as bringing players together across servers. Victories earn trophies, and your trophy standing determines your league. The 2021 guide lists six leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Master, and Legend. It says Master players can challenge Legend players and may be promoted by winning; Legend victories are described as direct ranking swaps. At a new season’s start, the guide says initial placement is based on current combat ratings. These mechanics come from a third-party guide published September 23, 2021, so check the live event rules for changes. AFK.Global’s Heroes of Esperia guide notes that the site is not affiliated with Lilith Games.
How matches and formations work
The 2021 guide says the event requires more team formations at higher standings, and the player with more victorious teams wins. Each formation must contain at least one hero; an empty formation automatically loses. If the battle timer expires, the defender wins. The guide lists these formation counts:
| League | Formations listed by the guide |
|---|---|
| Bronze | 1 versus 1 |
| Silver | 3 |
| Gold | 3 |
| Diamond | 5 |
| Master | Not stated in the guide |
| Legend | 7 |
The source does not specify a Master formation count; do not assume one from adjacent leagues. Formation requirements and match rules may have changed since the guide was published.

How hero stats are adjusted
The same 2021 guide describes a martial rating system that normalizes some attributes while preserving other progression. It says heroes retain their ascension tier, start at level 240, and may receive additional levels based on the Resonating Crystal level. It also describes gear being set to Mythic T1 with faction bonuses and no enhancements, with an exception for heroes already wearing Mythic T3 gear.
- Retained according to the guide: ascension tiers, Signature Items, Elder Tree attributes, Oak Inn furniture effects, and Eternal Engravings.
- Not retained according to the guide: artifact effects.
- Formation restriction: a Dimensional hero and its linked hero cannot be used at the same time, even on separate teams.
These are dated descriptions, not a guarantee of current-season rules. Review the live event’s rules before spending resources or finalizing formations.

Build formations and choose opponents
AFK.Global’s 2021 recommendations are practical starting points, not independently tested or guaranteed to be optimal for a current season:
- Use the free daily tickets available to you.
- Look for favorable matchups, such as opponents with substantially lower power or incomplete formations.
- Set defensive formations early. The guide recommends putting the two strongest teams in the first two positions, based on its description of matches decided by the first two wins.
- Consider saving additional ticket purchases for a late-season ranking push, while accounting for the possibility that rankings can shift near the end.
Check the current match format and season rules before applying formation-order advice; the recommendation is tied to the format described in the older guide.

Check the current season effect and rewards
Battle effects are season-specific. The 2021 guide details a Star Convergence effect with class-based bonuses for Warriors, Tanks, Rangers, Mages, and Supports, but those values are version-sensitive. AFK Global’s version 1.197 patch notes, published June 29, 2026, instead named Horn of Inspiration for the season they reported. Use the effect shown in the live event rather than treating an older effect’s bonuses as current.
The same version 1.197 notes say the reported season began July 1, 2026, lasted 90 days, and added avatar frames and achievement sticker rewards. AFK Global Team’s notes state, “The season lasts for 90 days.” These dated details do not establish whether Heroes of Esperia is available on October 7, 2026; check the in-game event panel for availability and current reward rules. For historical context, the 2021 guide says season-end rewards were based on the highest league reached and included Hero Soulstones and Honor Experience. It lists frame-unlock thresholds of 50, 200, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 League Points, and temporary medals for top-100, top-300, or top-500 placement that lasted 15 days. These are historical reward details, not confirmed current values.
AFK Global’s version 1.149 notes, published August 26, 2024, reported a season beginning August 28, a Stage 11-40 eligibility requirement, and item rewards for Diamond I and above. That is historical context only; it does not establish the current eligibility threshold or rewards. AFK Global’s version 1.149 patch notes

Can you play AFK Arena on PC?
The sources available for this guide do not establish an official PC client, a supported emulator, or an official PC setup procedure. That leaves the PC setup question unresolved; it is not evidence that no PC method exists. Do not treat an emulator or other workaround as officially supported based on these event sources, and consult current official platform documentation before relying on any setup method.
