Check the small-screen layout
Preview the actual menu at phone width. Confirm that links remain reachable, the menu opens and closes as expected, and added rows do not crowd the page. The Colorlib article notes that some examples collapse or change appearance on phones; that description is not an independent accessibility test.
Decide whether it should stay visible
If navigation remains pinned while scrolling, keep the fixed area compact so it does not obscure page content on a small screen. For a transparent header placed over a photo, inspect contrast across both bright and dark parts of the image; a dark overlay may help maintain legibility.

Will the examples work with Bootstrap 5?
Colorlib describes its own headers as standalone HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript downloads that can be used on their own or in Bootstrap 4, 5 and 6 projects. CodePen entries come from different developers, so check each pen’s loaded Bootstrap version and dependencies before copying its markup.
Version differences can require edits. For example, Bootstrap 4’s data-toggle attribute became data-bs-toggle in Bootstrap 5, and spacing utilities such as ml-* changed to ms-*. Verify the code against the version your project actually uses rather than assuming a demo will work unchanged.
Bootstrap 5.0 responsive navigation
Bootstrap’s v5.0 documentation says responsive navbar expansion is controlled by .navbar-expand-* classes and the Collapse JavaScript plugin. The docs recommend identifying navigation with a semantic <nav> element, or adding role="navigation" to a generic container, and using aria-current to identify the current page or item. These are version-specific instructions from the Bootstrap v5.0 documentation; that page indicates a newer version exists.

- Adjust the appearance: In the CSS, change colors and fonts to fit the rest of the design.
