The realme GT 7 is the better fit if you want the faster listed charging and a dedicated 2× telephoto camera. The vivo T5 5G offers a larger, faster-refreshing curved screen, a slightly larger stated typical battery, optical image stabilization on its main camera, and IP68/IP69 protection claims. There is no reliable single price gap to quote: the available listings disagree on the GT 7 price, and the compared configurations and markets do not all match.
Specifications at a glance
The figures below come from manufacturer pages for different markets: the GT 7 specifications are from realme Philippines, while the T5 5G specifications are from vivo India. They should not be treated as confirmation that every configuration is sold in the same country.

The listed chipsets are different tiers and brands, but their names alone do not establish how the phones compare in everyday speed, sustained gaming, heat, or battery efficiency. vivo publishes an AnTuTu Benchmark V11 result of 1,202,592 for the T5 5G 12 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM edition. vivo says the result comes from its laboratory and can vary by memory configuration and test environment. There is no matching GT 7 benchmark result in the cited material, so this figure cannot support a direct performance ranking.

For a choice based on demanding apps or games, compare independent tests of the exact regional models and memory configurations you can buy. The available specifications identify the processors but do not establish real-world performance superiority.
Display and battery: vivo favors size and refresh rate
The T5 5G has the larger panel: 6.83 inches versus 6.78 inches. Its listed refresh ceiling is also higher at 144 Hz versus 120 Hz, which can make supported motion look smoother. Actual refresh behavior depends on the content and settings; the specification is a maximum, not a guarantee that every app runs at that rate.
On capacity, vivo lists 7,050 mAh typical and 6,850 mAh rated, while realme Philippines lists 7,000 mAh typical and 6,850 mAh minimum. These figures are close, and capacity alone cannot predict which phone lasts longer. Screen settings, signal conditions, software, and usage all affect runtime.

Charging and cameras: the clearest practical differences
Charging
realme lists 120 W SUPERVOOC and says the adapter is included on its Philippines specification page. vivo lists 44 W FlashCharge and cautions that actual charging varies with use and conditions. On the stated wired charging rates, the GT 7 is the stronger option; the figures do not by themselves establish a full-charge time under identical conditions.
Rear cameras
The GT 7’s listed rear setup includes a 50 MP 2× telephoto camera as well as a main camera and ultra-wide. That gives it a dedicated listed camera for closer framing. The T5 5G instead lists a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultra-wide. OIS can help steady the main camera, but the listed T5 setup does not include a telephoto camera.
Video and front camera
Both listings specify a 32 MP front camera. vivo additionally claims 4K video recording at 30 frames per second from the front and rear cameras. That is a manufacturer specification, not a comparison of video quality between the phones.

Durability and software claims
realme Philippines lists Gorilla Glass 7i for the GT 7. vivo claims IP68/IP69 protection, fresh-water immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, and military-grade durability for the T5 5G. These claims have different scopes and are not interchangeable: a glass specification does not establish water resistance, and vivo’s protection statements should be read as manufacturer claims rather than a guarantee against damage in every situation.
The retrieved vivo India store listing names OriginOS 6.0. The realme software context in a comparison listing refers to Android 15 / realme UI, but the cited regional material does not establish current India-specific update eligibility or support duration for either phone. Check the exact regional model’s current support terms before buying if update longevity is a deciding factor.
Price difference in India: listings do not establish a fair gap
The available figures are snapshots, not stable prices or a like-for-like retailer comparison. The vivo India store displayed ₹34,999 for the selected 6 GB + 128 GB T5 5G configuration, with ₹49,999 shown as MRP, in a result observed on October 7, 2026. On that same observed date, Gadgets Now listed ₹51,999 for the realme GT 7, while Smartprix showed ₹41,999 as the lowest price it had found. The comparison pages may not reflect the same variant, seller, or offer.

The official realme specifications cited here are for the Philippines and Singapore, not India. They show that configurations differ by market: the Singapore page gives 12 GB + 512 GB, while the Philippines page lists 8 GB or 12 GB RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB storage. vivo’s India store lists the T5 5G in 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, and 12 GB + 256 GB configurations. Do not assume a regional specification or configuration applies to every local retail unit.
- Confirm the phone’s country/region SKU and the exact RAM and storage capacity.
- Check the retailer’s current selling price, seller, warranty terms, and included charger for that SKU.
- For the vivo T5 5G, the store listing says a case and applied protective film are included; verify the box contents for the specific listing before buying extras.
- Compare discounts only after identifying conditions such as a bank card, exchange, or limited-time offer.
