Cheats will not improve your aim. Aimlabs works by letting you practise a specific mechanic, measure where you stand, train the weak spot in short sessions, and check whether the numbers move. That route is what this guide covers: how to configure Aimlabs for the game you play, how to find a weakness with Benchmarks, how to choose a task or routine, and how to keep sessions productive. It also notes what Aimlabs’ own marketing claims do and do not establish.

Can Aimlabs cheats improve your aim?

No. A cheat does not train the mechanics that decide a fight: how quickly your hand gets to a target, how steadily you follow a moving one, and how fast you move between targets. The only dependable way to improve those skills is repeated, focused practice on them. This guide does not cover obtaining, installing, or hiding cheats. Aimlabs’ official guides do not describe how cheats are detected or what penalties apply, so this article makes no claims about either.

What an aim trainer does and does not replace

An aim trainer isolates selected mechanics. Aimlabs groups its practice into flicking and tapping, tracking, and target switching. It does not train positioning, movement, crosshair placement decisions, or the game sense that decides rounds. Use Aimlabs to sharpen the mechanics, then judge the results in your actual game, where those other skills still determine the outcome.

Step 1: Configure a game profile that matches how you play

Aimlabs’ first-session guide, “Getting Started in Aimlabs: Four Steps for Your First Session” (December 4, 2025), begins with setup. The steps are:

  • Choose a game profile for the game you play.
  • Set your field of view (FOV).
  • Select Mouse or Controller as your input.
  • Enter the sensitivity you use in the game. The settings workflow includes sensitivity conversion, so the training feel can match your in-game feel.

The guide also covers crosshair, audio, graphics, and visual-style options. Two of them need care. High contrast can make targets easier to track, which is useful for a beginner but may not reflect your game’s visuals. Hiding the gun model can make practice less realistic if the game itself offers no such view. Treat these as options to set for a relevant session, not as a universal ideal.

If you aim with a mouse, the sensitivity entry is the setting that matters most. Aimlabs’ guidance supports configuring mouse sensitivity; it does not show that buying new hardware improves aim.

Step 2: Use Benchmarks to find a weak skill

Aimlabs’ official Benchmarks launched with its first season on June 20, 2025. According to the announcement, each of the Entry, Intermediate, and Elite tiers contains 24 tasks covering tapping, tracking, and switching, and subcategory top scores count toward ranking. Seasons can change, so confirm the current tier and task structure inside the app before relying on exact counts.

Use the results to find the subcategory where you score lowest relative to the others, then train that one first. Aimlabs’ onboarding guide uses the same logic, with examples of micro flicking, reactive tracking, and speed switching.

Step 3: Choose a task or routine for that weakness

Aimlabs’ Aim Basics series (published January 8, 2026, updated July 16, 2026) organises routines into general and game-specific groups. Aimlabs states: “Training Programs give you curated playlists for each game or aim category.” Examples from the series include:

  • VALORANT: flicking, micro-corrections, and smoothness.
  • Overwatch 2: flicking, switching, and precise and reactive tracking.
  • Counter-Strike 2: micro-corrections, flicking, smoothness, and reactions to strafing enemies.

Confirm that a routine is still listed in the hub before you build a plan around it, since availability can change.

Route What Aimlabs provides Trade-off to weigh
General-purpose routine Mechanic-level practice across flicking, tracking, and switching Scenarios do not mirror your game’s perspective or pacing
Game-specific routine Playlists tailored to a named game’s skill demands Only as relevant as the game you actually play
Curated playlist A prepared sequence for a game or aim category Less control over the order and difficulty you choose
Self-selected tasks Full control over which tasks you run Easy to drift toward tasks you already find comfortable

Aimlabs’ pages describe these options but do not compare them head to head, so no route is shown to be universally best.

Step 4: Keep sessions short and review progress

Aimlabs’ guide to developing an aim training regimen recommends purposeful, balanced practice that you adjust to how you respond. It warns against long brute-force sessions and suggests reflecting on your progress after a few sessions. Its example is 15 minutes a day. That is the vendor’s suggestion, not an established optimum. If daily sessions stop producing visible gains, the same guide suggests trying three or four days a week.

At each review, check three things:

  • Whether your weakest benchmark subcategory has improved since your last run.
  • Whether the task or playlist still matches the mechanic that limits you in your game.
  • Whether your sessions are still short enough to stay focused.

How to read Aimlabs’ headline numbers

  • “Over 40 million players”: Aimlabs’ own usage claim on its homepage, accessed October 7, 2026. The page gives no measurement date or method.
  • “50K+ tasks and playlists”: a catalogue claim on the same homepage. An older Aimlabs training article cites “nearly 30,000” tasks, which is out of date.
  • “49% faster”: a homepage claim, attributed by Aimlabs to members using Sensitivity Finder 2.0. The page gives no study design, population, comparator, or measurement date, so treat it as Aimlabs’ claim rather than an independent result.

Aimlabs’ homepage also promotes a membership that includes Sensitivity Finder 2.0 and other training features. Check the current features and pricing on the site before subscribing, because they can change.

Improvement language on Aimlabs’ product pages is marketing, not a guarantee. Your own benchmark history is the better measure of progress.

Optional gear

An FPS gaming mouse is an optional purchase for mouse players who want hardware built for that input. It is not a requirement, and Aimlabs’ guidance does not show that new hardware raises your aim. Set sensitivity correctly first, then decide whether new hardware is worth buying.
