Miele’s published specifications make it possible to assess its layout and installation requirements, but the available evidence does not establish independent cooking performance or long-term reliability. For a buyer, the key checks are whether the flexible cooking area suits your pans, whether your kitchen can accommodate the specified cut-out and electrical load, and whether the regional model listing matches your market.
What the KM 7464 FL offers
Miele describes the KM 7464 FL as an independent induction hob with four cooking zones, one cooking area and capacity for up to four pans. Its layout combines two PowerFlex zones on the left with a PowerFlex bridge on the right. Miele lists the right-side bridge as 230 × 390 mm, allowing compatible cookware to use the combined area. The hob’s total rated load is 7.300 kW according to Miele UK’s product data sheet, accessed in 2026. A qualified installer should confirm that the supply and connection are suitable for the particular home and local requirements.
Connected features and controls
Con@ctivity hood communication
Miele advertises Con@ctivity as automatic communication between the hob and a compatible rangehood, allowing the hood to react to hob settings. Whether it works with your existing hood depends on compatibility and setup; those have not been independently tested here. Confirm the exact hood model and connection requirements with Miele before relying on this feature.
