Here, a “code” is usually the program you create for a level. Your boss assigns a task, and you arrange commands so the office worker moves and processes boxes correctly. The office acts like a simple computer, with an inbox, an outbox, storage slots, and a worker who can hold one box at a time. You begin with two commands and gradually gain access to a language of eleven commands, according to the developer.

What counts as a solution—and what counts as optimization?
Finishing a level and optimizing its program are different goals. The game’s optional challenges test program size and execution speed; you can treat them as separate targets rather than requirements for basic completion.

The developer describes the game as “programming is just puzzle solving.” A working solution may be enough to advance, while the optional targets ask you to improve it.
How to get unstuck without spoiling the level
When a program fails, do not focus only on its final result. The developer’s FAQ recommends stepping through the program one command at a time and watching what the worker does; a mistake earlier in the run can cause a failure much later.
- Run the program one command at a time.
- Watch the worker and the boxes after each command.
- Compare what happened with what the current instruction should do, then correct the first point where they differ.
- If you still need help, use the community hints or level solutions linked from the official FAQ.
For a spoiler-sensitive approach, look for a hint before opening a complete solution. A solution that completes the task does not automatically meet that level’s size or speed challenge; those targets require checking the program against the relevant goal.

The Steam listing shows 16 Steam achievements. That count applies to the Steam edition; it should not be read as a count for every platform or version.

The Steam achievement list includes career milestones, optimization goals, and a condition that asks you to solve a puzzle for a particular set of inputs while still failing with other possible inputs. That last condition is an unusual achievement requirement, not an instruction to use a cheat tool. The cited listings establish achievement counts and examples of conditions, but do not establish that achievements are easy or fast for every player.
