The Fisher & Paykel OB60SC7CEX2 is a 60 cm built-in electric oven with seven cooking functions, including a Pizza mode, and a manufacturer-listed 72 L usable capacity. Its documented features make it worth considering if its cooking modes and layout suit your kitchen, but the available independent-review page does not reveal its performance scores. Before buying, confirm local availability and check the installation drawing, cabinet cut-out and electrical requirements for your exact market.
What the OB60SC7CEX2 offers
Fisher & Paykel describes the OB60SC7CEX2 as a stainless-steel, 60 cm contemporary built-in oven. Its Australian product page and April 2026 quick-reference guide list 85 L total capacity, 72 L usable capacity and six shelf positions. The usable figure is the more relevant one when estimating the space available for cooking.
The manufacturer lists seven functions: Bake, Classic Bake, Fan Bake, Fan Forced, Fan Grill, Grill and Pizza Bake. The quick-reference guide also names Pastry Bake with Pizza mode. These are the documented modes; they do not, by themselves, establish how well the oven performs in a particular recipe.
What the named features mean
- AeroTech: Fisher & Paykel says this system circulates heat and is intended to support even cooking across multiple shelves. That is the manufacturer’s feature description, not an independent test result.
- Catalytic panels: The manufacturer says the panels absorb oil and fat splashes. This does not mean every oven surface is self-cleaning; check the manual for cleaning instructions and which parts require separate care.
- Door and shelves: Product materials list a CoolTouch door, a balanced door and non-tip shelves.
Dimensions and installation fit
Fisher & Paykel’s Australian product page and April 2026 guide give external dimensions of 598 mm high, 596 mm wide and 565 mm deep. CHOICE lists claimed external dimensions of 598 × 597 × 565 mm and a cut-out of 580 × 560 × 550 mm. The stated width differs by 1 mm between sources, so do not use a general product summary as your final fit check.

- THERMOSTAT OVEN BURNER OEM
Use the installation documentation for the exact OB60SC7CEX2 version and market, and compare its cabinet cut-out requirements with your measured opening. Fisher & Paykel cautions that specifications can change. Have a qualified installer confirm clearances and electrical suitability before installation.
Electrical requirements depend on the market
The April 2026 guide lists 220–240 V, 50 Hz and 15 A for the Australian specification, as well as a 3000 W grill. Do not assume these values apply to a unit sold elsewhere; verify the rating plate and local installation requirements for the exact model.

What independent evidence says—and does not say
CHOICE’s model page labels the OB60SC7CEX2 a discontinued model and displays claimed dimensions and cut-out measurements. Its expert rating and performance results—including heat distribution, roasting, pizza, ease-of-use scores and preheat time—are behind member access on the page reviewed. There is therefore no accessible score here to use for a performance ranking or a verdict about how it compares with other ovens.

Price, stock and discontinued status
At access on 7 October 2026, Fisher & Paykel Australia’s product page displayed AUD 1,099 and a 4.3 out of 5 customer rating, alongside postcode-based stock and delivery checks. Those are page-displayed Australian values, not a guaranteed sale price, a verified review sample size or a promise of current stock. CHOICE’s discontinued label is another reason to check directly with a local retailer rather than assume the model is available everywhere.
Before committing, confirm the full model suffix, local stock, warranty terms and electrical compatibility with the seller. Availability, included accessories and specifications can vary by region.

Included accessories and optional extras
The Australian manufacturer page lists catalytic panels, chromed shelf runners, a roasting dish, a step-down wire shelf and two sets of telescopic sliding runners. It identifies full-extension sliding shelves (part 565048) and a contemporary round aluminium handle kit (part 81645) as optional. Regional accessory lists can differ, so ask the seller what ships with the particular unit and verify part-number compatibility with Fisher & Paykel or an authorized local parts seller.
Is the OB60SC7CEX2 worth buying?
It may suit a buyer looking for a 60 cm built-in oven with six shelf positions, 72 L usable capacity and a dedicated Pizza mode, provided the installation dimensions and local electrical specification fit. The available material documents those features but does not expose CHOICE’s model-specific performance scores, so it cannot support a claim that the oven cooks better than alternatives. Compare candidate ovens on usable capacity, modes, cut-out and electrical requirements, cleaning approach, shelf inclusions, warranty and independently accessible test results.
