The vivo V50 and vivo V60e share a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen, a 120 Hz refresh ceiling and Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 on paper. They differ in chipset, camera layout, stated battery capacity and price. On vivo’s published India specifications, the V60e has the larger main camera and the bigger battery, while the V50 has the higher-resolution ultra-wide camera and a Snapdragon processor. Neither phone has an independent performance, camera or battery test behind it in the sources reviewed, so this comparison reports what each manufacturer lists and what each India listing costs, and stops there.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesProcessor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 against Dimensity 7360-Turbo
The two phones use different chip families from different vendors, which means their benchmark scores and sustained-performance behaviour will not be directly interchangeable. The V50 is built on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and the V60e on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo. The chip names alone do not show which phone will feel faster in daily use, how either handles long gaming sessions, or how heat is managed in each chassis. Those answers require testing that these listings do not provide.

Cameras: the main sensor and the second lens are different trade-offs
The camera setups are where the two phones diverge most clearly, and the difference is a trade-off rather than a simple upgrade.
Main camera
The V60e lists a 200 MP main camera with OIS. The V50 lists a 50 MP main camera, also with OIS. A higher megapixel count does not establish better photographs on its own, because pixel size, sensor design, processing and lens quality all affect the final image. Treat the 200 MP figure as a hardware specification, not a verdict on image quality.

Second rear lens
The V50 pairs its main sensor with a 50 MP autofocus ultra-wide camera. The V60e uses an 8 MP wide-angle lens instead. If you shoot a lot of group photos, architecture or wide landscapes, the V50’s ultra-wide specification is the more useful one on paper. Whether its colour, sharpness or edge correction matches the V60e’s main camera is not established by the sources reviewed.

Both front cameras are 50 MP with autofocus. The V60e front camera adds Eye AF, which is a focus feature that tracks the subject’s eyes. vivo’s listing does not state how it performs in practice.

Battery and charging
The V60e lists a typical battery capacity of 6,500 mAh, and the V50 lists 6,000 mAh. The gap is 500 mAh, which is a meaningful difference on paper but is not a measured endurance result. Battery life depends on screen use, network conditions, workload and software tuning, and none of those were tested here. Both phones list 90W charging. The V50 calls its charging “90W FlashCharge”; the V60e page gives the wattage without that branding. The wattage is the same, so the charging speed a listing states is not a reason to prefer one phone over the other.
Display
The two displays are listed identically: 6.77-inch AMOLED, 2392 × 1080 resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. Because the specifications match, you should expect similar screen sizes and sharpness on paper. The pages list different peak brightness figures, however: 4,500 nits local peak on the V50 and 1,600 nits on the V60e. Those numbers were not shown to use the same measurement method or test conditions, so they should not be read as a direct brightness contest. vivo’s marketing copy for the V60e also describes its audio as “rich, balanced sound with deep bass and spatial clarity”; that is vivo’s own description and has not been independently verified.

Software support
The V60e product overview states support for up to three major OS version updates and five years of security updates, from vivo India. The V50 parameter page lists Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15 but does not state an equivalent update duration in the sources reviewed. That means the V60e’s commitment is documented and the V50’s is not established. It does not mean the V50 lacks support, so check vivo’s current support policy for the V50 before you buy if update length matters to you.

What the ₹10,000 gap really measures
The ₹10,000 difference between the V50 12GB+512GB and the V60e 12GB+256GB listings is accurate as a price gap between those two products. It is not a fair measure of value, because the V50 variant has double the storage of the V60e variant. Compare identical RAM and storage before drawing conclusions about value. The V50 is not listed with a 256GB option in the sources reviewed, so an exact storage-matched comparison is not available from these pages.
Reading the prices correctly
- Always name the RAM, storage and market (India) together with any price.
- Store prices, promotions and stock can change after the capture date.
- The V60e 8GB+128GB listing at ₹34,999 is the lowest captured price in this comparison and the most affordable entry point for either phone’s listed range.
What these specifications cannot tell you
No independent head-to-head test was found in the sources reviewed. That leaves several questions open: real-world speed and sustained performance, photo and video quality across lighting conditions, actual battery endurance, thermal behaviour during gaming, and speaker performance. Manufacturer specifications answer which hardware is in each phone, not how that hardware performs when you use it. Before you decide on performance, photography or endurance, look for reviews that test both phones under the same conditions.
Checklist before you buy
- Confirm the exact RAM and storage variant you are comparing, and compare the same variants in both phones where the listing allows.
- Check the price on the seller’s page at the time of purchase, since the captured figures above will not stay current.
- If update length matters, verify the V50’s current software support commitment directly with vivo, because the reviewed sources do not state one.
- If camera performance matters most, look for independent photo comparisons rather than relying on megapixel counts.
The Bottom Line
On published specifications, the V60e offers the larger main camera, the bigger battery and the lower entry price, while the V50 offers the Snapdragon processor and the higher-resolution ultra-wide lens. If you value a documented software-support commitment, the V60e is the one vivo states it for. If you want the ultra-wide camera or need the 512GB storage tier, the V50 is the phone to compare. Make the final choice on tested performance and the variant you actually need, not on the headline price gap.
