The Moto G86 Power and OnePlus N6 5G are listed about ₹7,164 apart: ₹17,835 for the Moto and ₹24,999 for the N6, both at Amazon on 91mobiles’ comparison page at the time it was captured in 2026. That gap is not a settled street price. Motorola India’s own catalog showed lower Moto prices, and OnePlus’s launch page places the N6 in the ₹15,000–₹20,000 India segment. On specifications, the Moto has the higher-resolution OLED-class display and a rear ultrawide camera, while the N6 has a slightly larger screen and a larger listed battery.
Price difference: what the listings show
The ₹7,164 figure is simply the difference between two prices on one third-party page. The table sets out every price figure reviewed, with the context attached to each.
| Source | Moto G86 Power | OnePlus N6 5G | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles comparison, Amazon price | ₹17,835 | ₹24,999 | A dynamic third-party listing captured in 2026. It does not guarantee the storage or RAM tier, seller or offer behind the price. |
| Motorola India catalog pages | ₹16,999 (homepage) and ₹17,999 (Moto G family page) | Not listed | Motorola’s own dynamic catalog prices, captured in 2026. |
| OnePlus India launch page | Not listed | Described within the ₹15,000–₹20,000 India smartphone segment as of June 30, 2026 | A segment description, not a listed price for a specific configuration. |
Why the figures do not agree
The sources do not explain the mismatch. The most likely explanations are that the figures refer to different storage or RAM tiers, different sellers or offer conditions, or different dates. The OnePlus segment wording and an Amazon listing can describe the same phone in different contexts. For this pair, no single figure can be called the current price.
Side-by-side specifications
The table lists each value with the source that gave it. Where a cell reads “not stated”, the sources reviewed did not give that value for the device.

What the differences mean in practice
Display
The Moto’s listed resolution is much higher, and its panel is listed as OLED-class. Working from the listed figures, the Moto comes to roughly 446 pixels per inch and the N6 to roughly 254 ppi. That is our arithmetic from the stated resolution and diagonal, not a measurement. The N6’s screen is about 0.13 inches larger on the diagonal, so it offers more area even though it is less sharp. OLED panels generally deliver higher contrast than LCD panels, which matters most in dark scenes and video.
Battery and endurance
Battery capacity is not battery life. The N6’s 8,000 mAh figure is a typical value, with 7,780 mAh given as a rated equivalent, both from OnePlus. The Moto’s 6,720 mAh figure comes from Motorola’s US support page. Motorola’s “up to 50 hours” is a Motorola claim, and the test conditions behind it are not stated in the page text reviewed. 91mobiles publishes its own PCMark battery-test results for this pair. Those results belong to that site and reflect its test conditions, so they describe that test rather than general everyday endurance.
Charging
Motorola’s US page lists 30 W TurboPower for the Moto, and 91mobiles lists 45 W for the N6. The two figures come from different sources and may not reflect the same market. Charging speed also depends on the adapter you use, not only the phone’s rating.

(Not Compatibe with Certain MVNOs like Xfinty and Spectrum).
Cameras
The Moto’s listing includes an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 32 MP selfie camera. The N6’s listing shows a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie camera, with no ultrawide. These are hardware listings only. Megapixel counts do not show how a phone will render images. Sensor size, lens quality and software processing do, and none of those were compared here.
Durability
The Moto is listed with IP68 and IP69 ratings and the OnePlus with IP65. IP65 covers protection against low-pressure water jets, while IP68 and IP69 cover submersion and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets respectively, so the Moto’s listed rating is higher. Both list MIL-STD-810H, which is a set of environmental test methods rather than a guarantee against drops or damage. The two phones should not be treated as equally protected.

- 91mobiles lists a 128 GB version and a Dimensity 7400 in its detailed section, and names the Dimensity 7400 in its summary as well.
- Motorola states that its specifications may vary by market, so the US page may not describe the India model at all.
- The N6’s chipset, RAM and storage are not stated in the OnePlus pages reviewed.
Until the India variant is confirmed, a chip-level performance comparison between these phones is not reliable. Any benchmark figure on 91mobiles should be read together with the chip that site reports for that test, and it is that site’s result rather than a general performance fact.

Software and the OnePlus fluency claim
OnePlus lists OxygenOS 16 on the N6’s product page. The sources reviewed do not state the Motorola software version or its update commitment. OnePlus makes a specific promise about the N6’s fluency over time:
“60-Month Smooth Experience means the OnePlus N6 passed 60-month fluency testing in the OnePlus Test Lab through software, hardware, and other optimizations.”
The same page says the protection “does not guarantee absolutely no lag.” Read the claim as OnePlus’s own test result, not an independent guarantee of how the phone will feel after five years.
Quick Recap
Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the Moto G86 Power if you value a higher-resolution OLED-class panel, a rear ultrawide camera and the higher IP68/IP69 rating, and the India-market configuration and price match your needs.
- Choose the OnePlus N6 5G if you want the larger screen and the larger listed battery, the 45 W charging rating from 91mobiles, and OnePlus’s 60-month fluency commitment, and its live price is acceptable.
- Hold off if you cannot confirm the storage, RAM and chipset of the India model you would buy, or if the price gap narrows once you compare the same configuration.
Before you buy: checklist
- Compare live India prices for the exact RAM and storage tier on Motorola India’s Moto G family page and OnePlus India’s N6 page, with the same seller condition and offers applied to both.
- Confirm the chipset, RAM and storage from the India product sheet or box, not from a comparison table.
- Check the 5G bands against your carrier. Motorola’s US page lists bands for its own variant, and the captured OnePlus pages do not give a comparable list.
- Check the wattage of the charger in the box. Motorola’s India storefront lists charging accessories, but that listing alone does not confirm that an accessory fits either phone.
