If you have forgotten the screen password, PIN, or pattern on a Celero 5G, there is no official way to reveal it or skip the lock while keeping your data. Google’s general Android guidance is to erase the phone and set it up again. You can try remote erasure through Google Find Hub if the phone already met its requirements, or use the phone’s power and volume buttons to start a factory reset, following the steps for your exact model. A reset deletes the data stored on the phone, and setup may ask for the Google Account that was previously used on it.
What “unlock” means in this guide
Here, “unlock” means getting back into a phone you own after forgetting its screen lock. It does not refer to carrier unlocking, which concerns whether a phone can be used on another wireless network. Those are separate problems with separate solutions.
The Celero 5G is sold through Boost Mobile, and model details can vary. Before following any button sequence, confirm the exact release of your phone. Boost Mobile’s Celero 5G guide (2024 edition) places screen-lock settings at Settings > Security > Screen lock. That path only helps if you can already open Settings, so it is useful for changing or removing a lock later, not for getting past one you have forgotten.

Your options depend on what was set up on the phone before the lock was forgotten. Work through this checklist:

- Do you know the email address and password for the Google Account that was signed in on the phone?
- Was Find Hub turned on, and was the phone visible in Google Play, before you got locked out?
- Was the phone connected to power, mobile data, or Wi-Fi recently enough that remote tools could reach it?
- Do you have a Google Account backup of the phone’s data that you can restore after setup?
If you cannot answer yes to the first question, you will probably not be able to finish setup after a reset. Locate the account details first, because nothing in the reset process bypasses the account check.
Option 1: Erase the phone remotely with Find Hub
Google says remote erasure works only when several conditions are met at the same time. The phone must have:

- A mobile data or Wi-Fi connection
- A Google Account signed in
- Find Hub turned on
- Visibility on Google Play
If all of these were already in place, use Find Hub from another device or browser signed in to the same Google Account to erase the phone. Once the erase completes, the phone returns to its setup screens, and you can set it up again. If any condition was missing, remote erasure will not run, and you should move to the reset option below.

Google’s guidance says a locked phone can be erased using its power and volume buttons, and it directs owners to the manufacturer’s support site for the steps that match each device. This is the key limitation for the Celero 5G: the sources reviewed did not establish one button sequence that applies to every Celero 5G variant. Do not follow a video or forum post that claims one universal combination. Find the instructions that match your exact model in Boost Mobile’s support materials or the manufacturer’s documentation, then follow only those steps.

Before you begin the reset, keep these points in mind:
- Charge the phone or keep it connected to power, because an interrupted reset can cause more trouble.
- If you recently changed your Google Account password, wait 24 hours before performing the factory reset. Google recommends this waiting period.
- Expect all data stored only on the phone to be deleted, including photos, messages, and apps that were not backed up.
After the reset: setup and restoring your data
During setup, the phone will ask you to sign in to a Google Account. Use the account that was previously on the phone, then follow the prompts to restore any available Google Account backups. Restoration covers only what was backed up. Data that existed solely on the phone’s storage is not recovered by the reset, so the restore step may return less than you expect.

Once setup is complete, set a new screen lock that you can remember, and record it somewhere secure. Then go to Settings > Security > Screen lock to review the options.

Why the old “Forgot pattern” method does not apply
Older guides describe a “Forgot pattern” flow that lets you unlock a phone by signing in to a Google Account on the lock screen. Google’s own help page limits those instructions to Android 4.4 or lower. Modern phones, including the Celero 5G, do not offer that route, so any guide that promises it for a current phone is out of date.

Be cautious with bypass tools
Some websites, apps, and accessories promise to remove or reveal a screen lock. A charger, cable, or generic tool does not give you access to a locked phone. Using an unverified bypass tool can expose your data and may not work at all. The official routes described above are the only ones with a clear, documented result.
