The realme GT 7T has the higher stated charging rate (120W against 80W) and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX. The realme P4 Pro offers a 144Hz curved display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and a fully listed camera array. Both phones are rated at a 7000mAh typical battery. The spec sheets alone cannot show which phone is better, and the current price gap cannot be confirmed from the sources available for this comparison, so the price section below explains how to check it yourself.
All figures below are realme India’s own published specifications and marketing claims, checked on its product pages in 2026, for buyers in India. None of them are independent test results.
GT 7T and P4 Pro side by side
The table lists what realme India publishes for each model. Where a row says “not stated”, the figure does not appear on realme’s GT 7T product page. That means the page omits it, not that the phone lacks it.

Processor and memory
The two phones use different chip families. The Dimensity 8400-MAX is MediaTek’s chip in the GT 7T, and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is Qualcomm’s chip in the P4 Pro. The P4 Pro product page also mentions a dedicated graphics chip alongside its Snapdragon processor, though the page does not name it. The GT 7T page pairs its chip with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, which are newer memory and storage standards than the LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1 listed for the P4 Pro. Those standards are not a direct measure of speed in everyday use.
Chip names and standards do not tell you how fast a phone feels. Speed depends on thermal management, software tuning, and the workload. Compare the two phones only with independent benchmarks or hands-on tests that run both models on comparable software.
Display: refresh rate and brightness are different measures
The P4 Pro’s headline display figure is its 144Hz refresh rate, which means the screen can update up to 144 times per second when the content and software allow it. It is also a curved panel marketed as HyperGlow 4D Curve+ at 1280×2800 resolution. The GT 7T page does not list a refresh rate or resolution, so the two displays cannot be compared on smoothness or sharpness from realme’s published material.

The brightness figures are where careless comparisons go wrong. The GT 7T’s 6000-nit number is a local peak. realme Lab measured it under 100,000 lux, which is very bright outdoor light, and it applies to a small highlighted area rather than the whole screen. The P4 Pro product page advertises a 6500-nit peak but does not publish the measurement method. Neither number describes everyday brightness in a room or the level you will use most of the time. Treat both as marketing peaks, and do not read the higher number as the brighter screen without matching test conditions.
Battery and charging
Both phones are listed with a 7000mAh typical battery. The P4 Pro page also gives a 6830mAh minimum, which is the lower bound realme states for the cell, while the GT 7T page gives only the typical figure. Typical capacity is an average, so the two numbers are close but not guaranteed to be identical in every unit.
The GT 7T is marketed with 120W Ultra Charge, and the P4 Pro with 80W charging plus a box adapter. Wattage is the maximum rate a charger and phone can negotiate, not a time guarantee. Real charging time depends on the cable, the adapter, battery temperature, the current charge level, and software behaviour during charging. realme’s pages do not publish charging-time figures for either phone. If charging speed is a deciding factor, check the adapter included in your box and the independent charging tests for the exact model.

Cameras and video
The P4 Pro’s official specification is detailed: a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front camera. The GT 7T page does not list its sensors. It promotes 4K/60fps recording on both the rear and front cameras, and the P4 Pro also supports 4K/60fps on both sides.

Sensor resolution and video modes do not establish photo quality. Lens quality, processing, low-light performance, and stabilisation all shape the final image, and none of those are measured in the published specifications. For a camera decision, look for side-by-side photo tests of both phones in the lighting you shoot in most often.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Price difference: what is verified and what is not
The only price pair in realme’s published material is from the realme Big Diwali Sale 2025 campaign in India. It listed the P4 Pro from ₹19,999 and the GT 7T from ₹29,999, a ₹10,000 gap at the time. That was a limited-time festive offer from 2025, so it should not be treated as today’s price.

Comparison sites showed different amounts for both phones when checked for this article, and those figures could not be tied to a verified in-stock listing for the same configuration. Prices shift with stock, memory and storage variant, seller, and bank or exchange offers. To find the real difference, follow these steps:
- Open the realme India store page for each model and note the exact RAM and storage variant on sale. The P4 Pro is offered with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage; confirm which options the GT 7T is sold in.
- Check the same variant at two or more retailers on the same day, and record the listed price in rupees.
- Note bank card offers, exchange bonuses, and EMI terms separately from the base price, including any conditions such as minimum trade-in values or card types.
- Confirm what is in the box. The P4 Pro includes its 80W adapter; check whether the GT 7T’s listing includes a charger.
- Compare the final cash price after offers, and only then compare the two phones.
Which one should you choose?
The specifications do not identify a better overall phone, so the choice depends on which differences matter to you and what each model costs in your configuration.
Choose the GT 7T if
- The highest stated charging rate, 120W, is a priority and you want the newer LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 platform named on the product page.
- You prefer MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400-MAX platform and are comfortable waiting for independent benchmark results.
- Its price is equal to or lower than the P4 Pro in the variant you want, after offers are counted.
Consider the P4 Pro if
- A 144Hz curved display is important to you, and you want a published, detailed camera array with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide.
- You want the 80W adapter in the box and a clearly listed memory and storage configuration.
- It costs less than the GT 7T in the same variant on the same day, which is the case the 2025 campaign showed at the time.
Use the current local price, not the 2025 campaign, to make the final call. For the full published details, see the realme GT 7T 5G and realme P4 Pro 5G pages.
