The Moto g max 5G lists the sharper screen, the wider rear camera setup, the sharper selfie camera, and more RAM. The OnePlus N6 5G lists the bigger battery, the faster charging, and the lower price on the comparison pages we checked. Those are the headline differences, but they come from comparison sites rather than from OnePlus or Motorola product pages, so treat every figure below as reported and confirm it before you buy.

How reliable these figures are
Both phones were described by the same kind of source: aggregator comparison pages from 91mobiles and Gadgets Now. We did not find official specification sheets from OnePlus or Motorola for either model, so the model identities, launch status, and exact specifications are not confirmed by the manufacturers in the material we reviewed. The two comparison pages also disagree on the Moto g max 5G’s price. Neither page shows a capture date for its prices. Read the table as a checked summary of what the listings claim, not as a verified datasheet.
No benchmark scores or real-world battery test results are attributed to a named publisher here. The listings contain capacity and rated charging figures only, so this comparison does not say how either phone performs in games, camera tests, or a full day of use.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDisplay: resolution favours the Moto
Both screens are listed as 120 Hz LCD panels, so the refresh rate does not separate them. The difference is resolution. The OnePlus is listed at 720 × 1570, about 1.13 million pixels. The Moto is listed at 1080 × 2400, about 2.59 million pixels, roughly 2.3 times as many. Calculated from the listed sizes, that works out to about 254 pixels per inch on the OnePlus and about 392 on the Moto. At those densities the Moto should look noticeably crisper in text and fine detail, while the OnePlus will show more visible pixels, especially on a large screen.

Cameras: the Moto has more lenses
The OnePlus N6 5G is listed with a single 50 MP rear camera. The Moto g max 5G adds an 8 MP ultra-wide lens next to its 50 MP primary. If you photograph groups, buildings, or landscapes often, that extra lens is the Moto’s most practical camera advantage. The front cameras favour the Moto too: 32 MP against the OnePlus’s 8 MP. The listings give megapixel counts only, so they do not show lens quality, low-light performance, or processing.
Battery and charging: the OnePlus has the edge on paper
The OnePlus is listed with an 8,000 mAh battery, 1,000 mAh more than the Moto’s 7,000 mAh, which is about 14% more capacity. It is also rated for 45 W charging against the Moto’s 30 W. Rated wattage tells you how fast the charger can push power in ideal conditions, not how long the phone lasts on a charge. Actual endurance depends on the screen, processor, and software, and the listings do not test those.

- Triple Camera System: Includes 13MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses for crisp, detailed photos

Processor, RAM, and storage
The OnePlus is listed with 4 GB of RAM and the Moto with 6 GB. Both are listed with 128 GB of storage. The processors are a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex on the OnePlus and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 on the Moto. The chip names alone do not establish which one is faster in everyday use, and the listings include no benchmark comparison. Expect the Moto to have more memory headroom for multitasking, based on the listed RAM figures.

Both phones are listed as running Android 16. The OnePlus uses OxygenOS and the Moto uses Hello UI. Because both are on the same Android version, the practical difference will come down to the interface and update policy from each manufacturer, which the comparison pages do not cover.

Price difference
On the comparison pages we checked, the Moto g max 5G costs ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 more than the OnePlus N6 5G:
| Source | OnePlus N6 5G | Moto g max 5G | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles comparison page | ₹24,999 (Amazon shown as retailer) | ₹27,999 (Flipkart shown as retailer) | ₹3,000, about 12% more for the Moto |
| Gadgets Now comparison page | ₹24,999 | ₹26,999 | ₹2,000, about 8% more for the Moto |
These prices are not live prices. The pages do not say when they were captured, and retailer prices change often, so the gap you see when you shop may be larger or smaller. The retailer shown on one page is also not a guarantee that the listing exists or is in stock.

Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the Moto g max 5G if screen sharpness, the ultra-wide rear camera, a sharper selfie camera, or 6 GB of RAM matter more to you than battery life or charging speed, and you can pay the higher listed price.
- Choose the OnePlus N6 5G if you want the largest listed battery, the faster 45 W charging, and the lower listed price, and you are willing to accept a lower-resolution screen and a single rear camera.
- Wait for official confirmation if you need the exact model and specifications in writing. Neither model is confirmed by a manufacturer page in the sources we reviewed.
Check the listing before you buy
- Open the seller’s product page and confirm the exact model name and model number match the phone in this comparison.
- Check the RAM and storage in the variant title. Confirm 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage for the variant you want.
- Confirm the seller and the price shown at checkout, including any bank or coupon discount, since the comparison pages do not show these.
- Look for the official specifications on the manufacturer’s India website. If the phone is not listed there, treat the aggregator figures as unconfirmed.
- Check the return window and warranty terms with the seller before you pay.
Once you have verified the model and live price, the comparison above should make the trade-off clear: the Moto gives you the stronger screen and camera setup, and the OnePlus gives you the bigger battery, faster charging, and lower price.
