Tiny Corp’s configurable Tinybox starts at $7,000 without a GPU and can be ordered with up to four GPUs, including a four-card AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT option listed for an additional $4,000. It pairs those options with a 32-core water-cooled AMD EPYC processor, but buyers should plan for a made-to-order wait, wire payment, and possible shipping or compliance restrictions before treating the configurator as a straightforward checkout.

What the Tinybox offers

Tiny Corp describes the Tinybox as “A computer for deep learning. Configured by you.” The current configurator lists a G4 system built on PCIe 4, with a water-cooled 32-core EPYC CPU, 32 GB of DDR4 memory, a 1 TB boot SSD, a 1700 W power supply, and a server-grade motherboard with a baseboard management controller (BMC). The platform has slots for up to four GPUs using full-fabric PCIe, according to Tiny Corp’s product page (Tiny Corp Tinybox page).

The displayed starting configuration has no GPUs. That distinction matters: the $7,000 base price does not buy a ready-to-run four-GPU workstation.

G4 with four Radeon RX 9070 XT cards G4 platform plus four AMD GPUs $4,000 additional to the base, or $11,000 before any other selected upgrades GPU add-on price is visible on Tiny Corp’s configurator (Tiny Corp).
G4 with one or two RTX Pro 6000 cards G4 platform plus one or two Nvidia cards $19,000 additional for one card; $38,000 additional for two Options and add-on prices are listed on Tiny Corp’s page. The GPU generation is not specified in Notebookcheck’s October 8, 2026 report (Notebookcheck, October 8, 2026).
G5 / Genoa DDR5 platform; memory and storage upgrades selectable $12,000 base Notebookcheck reports this platform and price; the current page also presents G5 options. Notebookcheck reports memory capacity up to 192 GB, versus up to 128 GB on G4, and storage configurations up to 16 TB including boot and RAID drives (Notebookcheck, October 8, 2026).

Notebookcheck reports a maximum configured price of $64,000. That is a reported ceiling, not a price for a single standard build; the total depends on the selected platform, GPU, memory, and storage options. The official page’s text-rendered view does not expose every upgrade detail, so confirm the exact configuration and price with Tiny Corp before committing.

Why buying one takes more planning

There is no simple card checkout in the displayed configurator

The text-rendered Tiny Corp page says “Checkout not connected.” That means the displayed configurator alone does not establish that an order can be completed online or that a listed build is currently available to order. Contact Tiny Corp to confirm availability, final pricing, and the ordering process before arranging payment (Tiny Corp).

Payment is by bank transfer or wire

Tiny Corp says orders are paid by bank transfer or wire, and that payment must arrive within five days of order confirmation to guarantee the order. This is a materially different purchase process from entering a card at checkout; buyers should verify invoice details and transfer timing with the company.

Build and delivery have separate timelines

The system is made to order, with dispatch estimated at one to eight weeks. Tiny Corp estimates delivery in three to ten days after dispatch for insured UPS shipments. It says it ships worldwide only where the destination is available at checkout; that condition does not guarantee service to every country.

Taxes, duties, and returns affect the final cost

Buyers are responsible for applicable taxes. International buyers are also responsible for import duties, fees, and VAT. Tiny Corp states that returns are allowed within 30 days, with a 20% restocking fee and return shipping paid by the buyer. Factor those terms into a high-value purchase rather than treating the displayed configurator price as the full financial risk.

Nvidia orders may require compliance review

Tiny Corp says Nvidia GPU configurations may require a KYC/compliance form identifying intended use and installation address. It also warns that US regulations can prevent shipments to some countries. The product page does not enumerate eligible destinations, so buyers considering an Nvidia build should confirm destination eligibility and required paperwork before ordering.

Power, setup, and workload fit

The current configurable system lists a single 1700 W PSU, but Tiny Corp’s product page does not provide a complete electrical installation guide for each new build. Older Tinybox documentation describes prior systems with two 1600 W power supplies and warns that those configurations can exceed the capacity of a typical 120 V household circuit when both supplies are in use. Its legacy guidance includes separate-circuit recommendations and a GPU power-limiting script for certain single-outlet situations; those instructions should not be applied directly to the new single-PSU configuration. Ask Tiny Corp for the electrical requirements of the exact build, including the expected outlet and circuit needs (Tinygrad Tinybox documentation).

Tinygrad’s documentation describes Tinyboxes as heavily used in tinygrad CI and as intended for AI infrastructure, training, and inference. It says the documented default system image includes tinygrad and PyTorch, while other frameworks can be installed. These details indicate intended use and software flexibility, not measured performance for the new configurable model. No independently verified benchmark of this new configuration is established by the cited sources.

How to decide which configuration to investigate

  • Choose a platform based on memory and expansion needs. The G4 is listed as PCIe 4 with DDR4; Notebookcheck identifies the G5 / Genoa option as PCIe 5 with DDR5 and reports higher maximum memory. The sources do not establish comparable workload benchmarks.
  • Price the GPU choice as part of the full system. The RX 9070 XT option adds four cards for $4,000, while the listed RTX Pro 6000 choices carry much larger add-on prices. GPU count alone does not prove which build is faster or better value for a particular workload.
  • Check capacity and compatibility before selecting upgrades. Confirm the exact RAM, storage, GPU, power, and cooling configuration in writing, especially where the official page does not make an option’s full detail visible.
  • Resolve purchasing constraints first. Ask whether the destination is serviceable, what documentation is needed, how the order is confirmed, and when the payment deadline begins.
  • Plan installation around the exact unit. Request the electrical specifications and site requirements for the chosen configuration instead of relying on instructions for older Tinybox builds.

Bottom line for buyers

The Tinybox is an unusually configurable AI workstation with a substantial EPYC-based platform and a four-GPU option, but its headline base price is for a GPU-free build. The GPU and platform choices can move the total substantially, and purchase terms—wire payment, made-to-order lead time, destination limits, and return costs—deserve confirmation before an order is placed. Treat configurator prices as current listings to verify, not a guarantee of immediate availability or a completed online purchase.
