Frore Systems says its LiquidJet Diamond coldplate can reduce hotspot die temperature by an additional 10°C and deliver up to 35% more AI tokens per watt than traditional skived coldplates. The product is an enterprise direct-to-chip cooling component, not a consumer accessory; the figures are company claims, not independently validated results or a guarantee of revenue growth.
What LiquidJet Diamond is
LiquidJet Diamond is Frore Systems’ direct-to-chip liquid-cooling coldplate for high-power GPUs. It builds on Frore’s LiquidJet architecture, which the company describes as a 3D, ultra-short-loop, multi-stage coldplate that can be customized to a GPU’s power map.
The diamond is integrated into a spreader on the underside of the coldplate, positioned above GPU hotspots. It is not a plate made entirely of diamond. Frore lists copper and diamond as materials for its specified NVIDIA GB300 configuration, which measures 104.6 mm long, 62 mm wide, and 20.4 mm high; those dimensions apply to that configuration, not every version of the product. What Frore claims about temperature and tokens per watt
Frore’s October 8, 2026 announcement separates the gains from the base LiquidJet coldplate and the diamond addition. Against traditional skived coldplates, the company says base LiquidJet reduces GPU die temperature by 12°C and improves tokens per watt by 25%. Frore says the diamond spreader lowers hotspot die temperature by an additional 10°C and brings the total tokens-per-watt improvement to 35%. (Frore announcement via PR Newswire)

Frore’s product page uses a different comparison description and range: it claims a GPU that is 16–22°C cooler and 30–35% more AI tokens per watt than multi-inlet skived coldplates. The announcement’s 12°C base-coldplate figure and additional 10°C hotspot figure should not be combined with that product-page range as if all were a single universal benchmark; the published materials do not provide enough test detail to reconcile them. Tokens per watt measures AI output relative to power consumption; it is not itself a revenue-growth percentage. Any financial effect would depend on factors such as workload, utilization, electricity costs, and how a data center monetizes capacity. Frore’s 35% figure is a performance claim, not evidence that a buyer’s revenue will rise by 35%.

How to interpret the 770 W/cm² hotspot rating
Frore lists a maximum hotspot rating of up to 770 W/cm². The company specifies that this figure applies to a 5 mm × 5 mm hotspot with a 25°C inlet temperature, a 95°C Tjmax, PTM7950 thermal interface material, and an unlidded package. It is a company-published specification under those stated conditions, not an independently verified measurement. The product page also claims more than 150% higher maximum hotspot power density and 75% higher heat-transfer efficiency than multi-inlet skived coldplates. (Frore product page)

Frore announced plans to demonstrate LiquidJet Diamond at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose from October 12–16, 2026, including a planned setup cooling a 2,300 W NVIDIA Rubin system. As of October 9, 2026, those event dates were still in the future, so the announcement establishes a planned demonstration, not that it took place. (Frore announcement via PR Newswire)
