Trulieve says it repaid a $15.8 million mortgage from Blue Ridge Bank on December 30, 2025—not a $65 million mortgage. The company funded the payoff with $8.3 million from operations and $7.5 million in restricted escrow cash, and recorded a $0.1 million loss on debt extinguishment.

How much mortgage debt did Trulieve repay?

Trulieve reported repaying $15.8 million of mortgage debt. Its 2025 annual report says the full payoff occurred on December 30, 2025; the company’s February 26, 2026 full-year results release also describes the repayment as $15.8 million.

The $65 million figure in the original headline is not supported by these company disclosures. They identify a $15.8 million repayment, and do not establish what the $65 million figure refers to.

How did Trulieve fund the repayment?

The annual report says Trulieve used $8.3 million from operations and $7.5 million in restricted escrow cash. The two sources together account for the reported $15.8 million payoff.

The filing also records a $0.1 million loss on debt extinguishment, representing deferred issuance costs written off in the accounting. The payoff therefore reduced the stated mortgage obligation, but it was not recorded without an accounting cost.

Was the mortgage repayment the same as Trulieve’s $368 million debt redemption?

No. Trulieve’s February 26, 2026 full-year results release reports two separate transactions: the $15.8 million mortgage repayment and the redemption of $368 million in senior secured notes due 2026. The $368 million figure refers to the notes, not the Blue Ridge Bank mortgage.

What do Trulieve’s later financial results show?

These are company-reported figures in U.S. dollars; they do not isolate the mortgage payoff’s effect on liquidity or leverage.

The latest quarterly filing identified here is Trulieve’s Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2026. The available disclosures do not quantify a standalone balance-sheet benefit from repaying this particular mortgage. The repayment removed the stated mortgage obligation, while using cash that otherwise would have remained available to the company.
