There is no universal winner: choose a Chromebook if you want Samsung’s documented Phone Hub, Quick Share, and Samsung Notes workflows alongside ChromeOS and Google account sync. Choose a Galaxy Book if you want Windows with Samsung’s Phone Link and connected-device features, including call continuity on eligible devices. The right choice depends on what you want to do and whether your exact phone and laptop support it.

What matters most when pairing a Samsung phone with a laptop?

Think about the task you want the phone and laptop to handle together. “Phone integration” can mean seeing notifications, opening supported phone apps, moving files, syncing notes, or placing calls from another device. Those are separate capabilities, and a feature available on one model or software version is not guaranteed on another.

Samsung documents a Chromebook setup for the Galaxy Chromebook Plus that includes Phone Hub, Quick Share, and Samsung Notes sync. For Galaxy Book, Samsung documents Windows features such as Phone Link and selected Samsung connected-device functions. The comparison below reflects those documented paths; it is not a test of speed, reliability, battery life, or value.
