What do the Care Centre and travel case add?
The tested top bundle included a 7-in-1 Care Centre and a Power Travel case. According to T3’s review, the Care Centre cleans, lubricates, dries and charges the shaver. The case has its own battery for portable charging. These accessories can make ownership more convenient, but confirm they are included in the listing you are considering rather than assuming the reported deal covers the reviewed bundle.

T3 reported that Braun claims up to 60 minutes of cordless runtime and a five-minute quick charge for one 15-minute shave. In his own testing, Poultney recorded 52 minutes and 54 minutes across two full battery discharges. Those are the reviewer’s reported results, not independently reproduced battery tests.

How much does the Braun Nevo cost to maintain?
Beyond the purchase price, T3’s review-time estimates were around £7.50 per cleaning cartridge and around £80 for a replacement shaving head. Braun’s stated cartridge replacement guidance, as reported by T3, is roughly every two months depending on use; the head is due about every 18 months. These are approximate figures from the review, not current quotes. Check current prices and confirm compatibility before buying replacement parts.
The cleaning system’s convenience therefore comes with an ongoing expense. If you prefer not to buy cartridges, include that recurring cost in your decision rather than judging the shaver only by its sale price.

What are the Nevo’s main drawbacks?
- It is expensive: T3 said the high price is easier to justify when discounted. At review time, it reported a basic package starting around £740, a near-£900 RRP for the tested top bundle, and a Boots offer as low as £420. Those figures refer to different packages and dates; they should not be treated as a like-for-like comparison with the later Amazon deal.
- It does not adjust for stubble length: the Nevo is an all-or-nothing foil shaver. For shaping or maintaining a chosen beard length, use a separate beard trimmer or consider a shaver with guards.
- The travel setup is bulky: T3 flagged the case’s size as a downside for packing.
- The accessories use two-pin charging: check whether that arrangement works for your charging setup, particularly when travelling.
- Cartridges add recurring cost: the cleaning station is useful, but its cartridge replacement is an ongoing expense.
