To add a WordPress website in Hostinger, open Websites in hPanel, select Add website or Create website for your hosting plan, and choose WordPress. Set up the WordPress administrator login, select a domain or temporary domain, and finish the guided installation. Then return to Websites and select Admin Panel to open your WordPress dashboard.
Before you add the website
Confirm your hosting plan allows another site
Check the website limit shown in your Hostinger account before starting. Hostinger’s current help pages list Web Premium, Web Business, and cloud hosting plans as supporting multiple websites; another support page also includes agency plans. A Single web hosting plan needs an upgrade to host more than one website. Plan names and entitlements can change, so rely on the limit displayed for your account.
Choose a domain approach
You can use a domain you already own, register a new one, set up a subdomain, or start with a temporary domain and connect a permanent one later. If your domain is registered with another provider, you will need to point it to Hostinger. The selected website’s dashboard provides a Check guide link with connection instructions.
Add WordPress through Hostinger’s guided setup
- Open hPanel’s Websites area. Sign in to Hostinger and select Websites.
- Start creating the site. On the hosting plan where you want the site, choose Add website or Create website, then select WordPress. Hostinger may revise these labels over time.
- Create WordPress administrator credentials. Choose the admin-panel language, enter an administrator email address, and set a strong password. These are WordPress login details, separate from your Hostinger account credentials; keep them available for signing in later.
- Complete or skip optional setup choices. If prompted, select a site type, theme, or suggested plugins. You can skip optional choices and configure them later. The setup may also offer AI-generated site content; availability depends on your plan and the current onboarding options.
- Select a domain. Choose an existing domain, register one, use a subdomain, or select a temporary domain. If the domain is registered elsewhere, point it to Hostinger using the guidance available from the dashboard.
- Wait for installation, then open WordPress. Hostinger says installation typically takes a few minutes but does not guarantee a completion time. When it finishes, return to Websites and select Admin Panel to open the WordPress dashboard.
If the guided flow does not fit your needs
Hostinger also documents WordPress installation using hPanel’s Auto Installer and a manual installation. These alternatives may suit a specialized subdomain setup or a need for more control.

Auto Installer
The Auto Installer asks for site and login details, as well as version, language, and update settings. Follow the prompts in hPanel and use the administrator credentials you want for WordPress.
Manual installation
Manual installation involves uploading WordPress files and setting up a database. It is the more technical option; use it when the guided setup and Auto Installer do not meet your requirements or when you need that manual control.
