The iQOO Neo 10R is the stronger specs-led choice for shoppers who want a performance-focused chipset, a 144Hz display and an ultrawide rear camera. The vivo S2 5G offers a slightly larger screen, a larger stated battery and a published software-support commitment. Price snapshots show a sizeable gap, but they are not live quotes: compare the same RAM and storage variant, seller and stock status before buying.

Which phone has better performance?
The Neo 10R’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 makes it the more performance-oriented pick on the published specifications. The S2 uses a Dimensity 7360-Turbo. Those chipset names indicate different hardware tiers, but the cited product information does not establish a controlled, independent head-to-head result for gaming, sustained speed or everyday responsiveness.
vivo lists an AnTuTu score of 970,000 for the S2. That is a manufacturer-published figure, not a like-for-like independent comparison with the Neo 10R. Treat it as a vendor claim rather than a promise of real-world performance.

How do the displays differ?
The S2 has the slightly larger display at 6.83 inches, compared with the Neo 10R’s 6.78 inches. The Neo 10R lists a 144Hz refresh rate, while the S2 lists 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and animation appear smoother, though the difference you notice depends on what you do and which apps support it.
For resolution and panel description, the manufacturers specify a 2800 × 1260 AMOLED display for the Neo 10R and a 1.5K POLED display for the S2. These descriptions are preferable to simplified display labels in comparison listings.

Which phone has the more flexible cameras?
The Neo 10R includes an 8MP ultrawide rear camera alongside its 50MP main camera. The S2 pairs a 50MP Sony main camera with a 2MP bokeh camera. The ultrawide gives the iQOO a distinct option for fitting more into a landscape or group shot; a bokeh camera serves a different purpose and is not an ultrawide substitute. Both phones list a 32MP front camera.

Battery capacity, charging and support
The vivo S2 has the larger stated battery: 7050mAh versus the Neo 10R’s 6400mAh typical capacity. Capacity alone does not determine battery life, which also depends on display settings, signal strength, workload and software. iQOO lists 80W charging for the Neo 10R; the cited S2 page does not state a charging speed.
vivo says the S2 receives three generations of OS updates and five years of security updates. iQOO’s cited comparison page does not state a corresponding Neo 10R support commitment, so the available information does not support a direct support-duration comparison.

These are manufacturer figures, not independent, directly comparable battery tests. Its product page describes the battery as fitting into a “slim and comfortable body” and supporting “dependable all-day confidence”; that is vivo’s marketing language, not an independent assessment.

Separately, iQOO’s own comparison page shows ₹31,999 for the Neo 10R 8GB+128GB variant. That manufacturer-page figure should not be blended with the lower, fluctuating third-party snapshots or treated as a live retailer quote. Before purchase, check the current price, exact RAM and storage configuration, stock, seller and warranty for both phones.
Which should you choose?
- Choose the iQOO Neo 10R if you prioritize the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a 144Hz refresh rate, an ultrawide rear camera or 80W charging.
- Consider the vivo S2 5G if you want the slightly larger display, larger stated battery or its stated OS and security update policy.
- Compare the exact listings before deciding if price is the deciding factor. The cited prices are snapshots, and one Neo 10R listing was out of stock.
91mobiles reports launch dates of March 11, 2025 for the Neo 10R and August 11, 2026 for the S2 5G. These dates are secondary-source reporting; they do not establish current availability or pricing.
