Arun Vishwakarma’s Cloud and DevOps learning path connects app development with hands-on Linux administration, Kubernetes practice, and deployment workflows. Its organizing loop is “Learn → Implement → Test → Document → Improve.” The projects described are the author’s account of learning and practice, not an independent review or verification of their security or implementation.
What is Cloud Guard?
Cloud Guard is described by Vishwakarma as an actively developed Flutter and Firebase security and file-management application for web and Android. Its feature list brings together account security, local file handling, and app-lock controls.
- Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In, with account-security information, a security checklist, and activity tracking.
- PIN-based app locking, Android biometric support, and auto-lock controls.
- Local file scanning for security issues, file-type mismatches, and suspicious or dangerous files, alongside security reports and file-integrity checks.
- A video-link player and a secure file locker that uses a separate PIN and stores files locally.
- Locker PIN reset through Firebase account verification and Android update notifications.
These are the author’s stated features; the post does not independently establish how they are implemented or demonstrate that the app prevents threats. In particular, a list of security features should not be treated as an audit or guarantee of protection.
Which Linux infrastructure projects does the author practice?
The Linux work is described as practice in Ubuntu and WSL-based lab environments, with automation and service administration as its main threads.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Automated server backups
One project focuses on automating backups. The reported tasks include creating timestamped archives, monitoring disk space, cleaning up when space crosses a threshold, validating backups, handling source and destination paths safely, and synchronizing work with GitHub.
Nginx deployment and administration
A separate project covers deploying Nginx and managing its systemd service, configuring a firewall, and setting up HTTPS/TLS with HTTP-to-HTTPS redirection. The author also reports practicing SSL configuration in a lab, log rotation and compression, basic monitoring, and Bash alert scripts.

- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)
- Quick Data Transfers: Accelerate your productivity with rapid data transfers using a high-speed 5Gbps USB 3.0 port and two 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports.
- 4K HDMI Display: Enhance your visual experience with a hub capable of delivering 4K resolution at 30Hz in both mirror and extend modes. Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
These exercises connect routine administration tasks: a service must be deployed and kept running, its traffic configured, and its logs and resource use observed. The post describes the areas practiced, but does not report test results or a production deployment.
How does Kubernetes fit into the learning path?
Vishwakarma says he uses Minikube and Docker Desktop for practical Kubernetes learning, including commands and deployments. The post does not identify particular manifests, workloads, or measured outcomes, so it supports describing a hands-on practice route—not claiming a specific level of Kubernetes proficiency.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
How do the projects connect app development and infrastructure?
The journey spans two kinds of work: building an application and operating services. Cloud Guard is the app-development project; backup automation and Nginx provide Linux administration practice; Minikube and Docker Desktop are used for Kubernetes exercises. Git and GitHub, documentation, release management, Flutter web deployment, and Android build and release workflows connect those activities into a broader delivery process.
The sequence the author describes is development, testing, version control, build, and deployment. That gives each project a practical next step: make a change, check it, track it, package it, and deliver it. It is a description of the author’s workflow, not evidence that every project uses an identical pipeline.

What does the completed DevOps cheat sheet contain?
Vishwakarma reports completing a web-based DevOps reference with 210+ practical commands and 16+ categories (Arun Vishwakarma, 2026). It covers Linux, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps commands, and includes search functionality. Those totals are the author’s figures; they are not an independently audited count.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is the main idea behind this learning journey?
The projects are presented as a connected way to learn Cloud Engineering and DevOps through practical work rather than studying concepts in isolation. The author’s stated loop—“Learn → Implement → Test → Document → Improve”—describes the intended rhythm: apply a concept in a project, check the result, record what happened, and refine the work. Readers should understand the account as a learner’s progress report, not a product review or independent assessment.
