9to5Toys’ October 3, 2026 roundup highlights deals on Echo speakers, Apple products, smart-home devices, accessories and more. Its reported savings are a snapshot from publication day, not a guarantee of today’s price or stock, so check each retailer’s live listing before buying.
Echo speaker deals
9to5Toys reports Echo speaker offers starting at $22, with discounts of up to 50% in its October 3 roundup. The figures are the publisher’s deal claims; the roundup does not establish that every model or price remains available now.
Apple deals: AirTag 2 and M5 MacBooks
The Apple section features AirTag 2 alongside M5 MacBooks. 9to5Toys reports savings of up to $150 on M5 MacBook Air models and a $500 discount on an M5 Pro MacBook Pro. Those savings apply to the roundup’s listed offers, not necessarily every configuration, and are not independently verified live prices.
Before choosing a MacBook offer, compare the exact configuration and retailer listing. A discount alone does not show whether two listings have the same specifications or condition.
#1 Best Overall
- Your favorite music and content – Play music, audiobooks, and podcasts from Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify and others or via Bluetooth throughout your home.
- Alexa is happy to help – Ask Alexa for weather updates and to set hands-free timers, get answers to your questions and even hear jokes. Need a few extra minutes in the morning? Just tap your Echo Dot to snooze your alarm.
- Keep your home comfortable – Control compatible smart home devices with your voice and routines triggered by built-in motion or indoor temperature sensors. Create routines to automatically turn on lights when you walk into a room, or start a fan if the inside temperature goes above your comfort zone.
- Do more with device pairing – Fill your home with music using compatible Echo devices in different rooms, or create a home theatre system with Fire TV.
- Say goodbye to drop-offs and buffering - With eero Built-in, Echo Dot doubles as a mesh wifi extender, adding up to 1,000 sq. ft. of wifi coverage to your existing eero network.
Smart-home offers
The roundup covers Matter-ready lighting, HomeKit devices, thermostats and robot vacuums. It reports ecobee smart thermostat deals of up to $210 off. Check the individual product listing for the precise model and compatibility details; the category names alone do not establish that every device works with a particular home setup.
Other categories in the roundup
Beyond speakers, Apple products and smart-home gear, the October 3 collection spans accessories, apparel and other categories. It also includes streaming hardware such as Fire TV devices. The roundup is a broad retail-deals collection, rather than a guide to streaming services.

How to check an offer before buying
- Open the retailer’s live listing and confirm that the offer is still available.
- Match the exact model and configuration, not just the product family name.
- Check the seller and item condition, including whether a listing is new, open-box or refurbished.
- For smart-home products, verify compatibility with the platforms and devices you use.
- Compare the final checkout price, including any shipping or other charges shown by the retailer.
9to5Toys’ author Justin Kahn notes, “All prices subject to change at any time…cash in while you can!” That warning applies to the roundup’s offers: a reported discount may change or disappear after publication.
