These eight firms are candidates for a telemedicine development shortlist, not a verified league table. The 2026 comparisons and directories available use different selection methods, and none establishes an independently scored, apples-to-apples top eight. The companies below are selected because published profiles describe relevant work in areas such as real-time video, healthcare software, mobile products, and EHR/EMR integration. Treat those descriptions as leads to validate—not proof that a vendor fits your project.

Eight companies to consider for a telemedicine project

The profiles below summarize claims reported in Trembit’s 2026 comparison and, where noted, Orangesoft’s comparison. They do not establish equivalent delivery outcomes or compliance across the firms. Before choosing one, confirm current references, the team assigned to your account, security documentation, and examples of products with workflows like yours.

  1. Trembit

Trembit’s comparison presents the company as a WebRTC and real-time video and voice specialist. It says Trembit built a WebRTC interpreting engine for Martti that is used across more than 4,000 U.S. healthcare facilities. That reach is a vendor-published proof point, not an independent audit. Ask for current documentation behind any compliance claims and clarify which entity, product, and project scope they cover. Trembit’s 2026 comparison

  2. ScienceSoft

The comparison describes ScienceSoft as a broad IT consulting and custom-software firm with a dedicated Healthcare IT practice. It names bioAffinity Technologies and S.A.E. Orthopedics case studies and describes company-level ISO certifications, while addressing HIPAA at project level. A company certification is not evidence that a specific product or project is HIPAA compliant; request the applicable scope and responsibility details. Trembit’s 2026 comparison

  3. DataArt

Trembit’s page describes DataArt as a diversified software engineering firm with a Healthcare & Life Sciences practice and medical-device software work. Orangesoft’s comparison also associates it with telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and virtual clinical trials. Confirm that the proposed team has delivered products comparable to yours, rather than relying on a broad practice description. Trembit’s comparison and Orangesoft’s 2026 comparison

  4. Glorium Technologies

Trembit describes Glorium Technologies as a healthcare and real-estate software provider with telemedicine and EHR/EMR work. Its comparison lists certifications and directory ratings, but those claims should be checked for current status, issuing entity, and scope. Trembit’s 2026 comparison

  5. Cleveroad

The profile describes Cleveroad as a custom mobile and healthcare software firm offering EHR/EMR, telemedicine, and remote patient monitoring work. Trembit reports ISO certifications and explicitly notes that Cleveroad does not claim HIPAA. Ask what technical, contractual, and operational safeguards the proposed engagement includes for your jurisdiction and product. Trembit’s 2026 comparison

  6. Appinventiv

Trembit presents Appinventiv as a mobile and digital product development company with telemedicine and EHR work, and lists multiple compliance and security claims. Verify the exact legal entity, certificate scope and dates, and the experience of the delivery team proposed for your project. Trembit’s 2026 comparison

  7. Orangesoft

Orangesoft describes its work in mobile development across telemedicine, medical devices, and wearables, and cites a stroke-patient telemedicine software case study. Its own 2026 list says it has completed more than 300 web and mobile projects and discusses regulatory support. Treat these as company claims and ask for relevant references and a clear account of who owns regulatory responsibilities. Orangesoft’s 2026 comparison and Trembit’s comparison

  8. Mindbowser

Trembit presents Mindbowser as a HealthTech consulting studio offering digital health accelerators and EHR integration, with HIPAA- and FHIR-trained staff. These are claims reported in the comparison; request named references for similar work and details about the people who would actually deliver it. Trembit’s 2026 comparison

How to compare telemedicine development firms

Start from the product you need to ship, then test each vendor’s evidence against its actual workflows, risks, and operating model. General healthcare experience alone does not demonstrate fit.

  1. Match delivered products to your workflows

Ask for a live or referenceable product with comparable workflows: video visits, asynchronous messaging, scheduling, prescribing, remote monitoring, or patient and provider portals. Distinguish a production deployment from a prototype or a general healthcare software project.

  2. Get a written security and compliance responsibility matrix

Ask which legal entity holds each certification, its scope and date, what obligations fall to the vendor versus your organization, and which contractual and operational safeguards are included. A compliance label without a defined project scope does not tell you whether your intended product or deployment is covered. Trembit’s comparison notes that compliance positions can change and distinguishes company-level from project-level statements. Trembit’s comparison

  3. Verify integration experience against your systems

Name the EHR/EMR systems, interfaces, and data flows your project requires, then ask for evidence of comparable integrations. A broad claim of healthcare expertise does not prove the firm has integrated with your specific stack. EHR/EMR work and healthcare technical capability are among the factors identified in the comparisons. Trembit’s comparison, GoodFirms’ directory, and Orangesoft’s comparison

  4. Compare the delivery and support model

Clarify who handles discovery, product design, engineering, testing, launch, support, and maintenance. Ask how the same team’s capabilities cover the full lifecycle and what happens after release. Orangesoft’s stated selection criteria include end-to-end development and a range of technology capabilities. Orangesoft’s 2026 comparison

  5. Interpret directories and reviews carefully

Directories can help identify firms and review evidence, but their mechanics matter. GoodFirms says it considers reviews, portfolios, expertise, capabilities, specialization, market presence, and verification; it also discloses that sponsored listings pay for premium placement. Clutch describes interview-based reviews and discloses fees for some placements. A rank or featured position is a discovery signal, not proof of clinical or technical fit. GoodFirms’ telemedicine directory and Clutch’s telemedicine directory

  6. Request a scoped estimate with explicit assumptions

Ask vendors to itemize assumptions for integrations, security, regulatory work, and ongoing operations. Orangesoft’s 2026 page estimates an MVP at $75,000–$150,000 over 3–6 months, depending on EHR integration and compliance work. This is one vendor-authored estimate, not an independently established market rate or a quote for your scope. Orangesoft’s 2026 comparison

What published figures can—and cannot—tell you

Directory category statistics describe a pool of listed businesses, not the performance or pricing of any one firm. For example, GoodFirms’ September 2026 page reports 521 telemedicine app development companies across 57 countries, a $37 median hourly rate, a 4.9 median client rating, and 22% with teams of 50 or more. These are directory-category figures; they are not a quote, forecast, or verified outcome for an individual vendor. GoodFirms’ directory

Likewise, Orangesoft says its 2026 comparison curated 15 firms, while Trembit says its comparison covers a subset, verifies non-publisher rows against company sites as of July 2026, and does not rank the firms. The pages use different selection populations and methods, so neither proves an objective top-eight order. Orangesoft’s comparison and Trembit’s comparison

Build a shortlist around proof, not order

Use these eight profiles to identify firms worth approaching, then compare them against the same project brief and evidence requirements. The strongest choice depends on whether your priority is real-time communications, healthcare consulting, EHR integration, mobile product delivery, or broader engineering—and whether the actual proposed team can show relevant work, defined compliance responsibilities, and support after launch.
