Mashable reported on October 1, 2026, that Prime members could get a $30 Amazon credit with eight discounted Echo devices through October 7, 2026. The promotion may not appear for every account, so check that Amazon shows and applies the credit on your account before you place an order. The prices below are Mashable’s reported October 1 prices, not confirmed live prices.
Which Echo devices were reportedly eligible?
Mashable’s October 1, 2026 report named these eight devices and sale prices. Its listed discount compares each reported sale price with the regular price cited in the article; both may have changed since then.

The offer report identifies the Echo Show models as smart displays and the Echo Spot, Echo Dot Max, and Echo Studio as speaker or speaker/display products. It does not provide comparative tests or enough feature detail to rank one as the best choice. Consider whether you want a speaker or a display, the form factor that suits your space, and the current price. Tom’s Guide also reported early October Prime Day discounts on several Echo families, but that coverage does not confirm the $30 credit.
How to check and apply the credit
- Sign in to the Amazon account with an active Prime membership.
- Open Amazon’s “Devices with Alexa+” landing page and select one of the listed Echo devices.
- Look for the “Apply Offer” button below the device and select it.
- Before completing checkout, confirm that the $30 credit appears in the offer details or is applied to your order.
Mashable reported that the offer appeared for some of its staff accounts but not others. Being a Prime member does not guarantee the promotion will be available to your account. If Amazon does not display or apply the credit, do not assume you will receive it later.
