If you already own a RYOBI 18V ONE+ battery, you may be able to power more than drills and saws. RYOBI’s official catalogs list battery-powered fans, misting fans, inflators, lights, radios and Bluetooth speakers, and portable power sources that use the same family of batteries. Not every RYOBI battery gadget works this way, though. Some lines use different battery systems, and whether a given item comes with a battery depends on the exact listing.
Check your battery platform first
Before you shop for a gadget, confirm which battery system it uses. RYOBI sells several lines that look similar on a shelf but are not interchangeable:
- 18V ONE+ (lithium-ion): the platform most of the gadgets below use. RYOBI UK’s anniversary page states that every RYOBI 18V battery works in every RYOBI ONE+ tool. That is the company’s platform claim, not an independent test, but it is the basis for assuming cross-compatibility within the 18V ONE+ range.
- USB Lithium: a separate line listed in RYOBI UK’s specialty catalog. These tools run on their own USB-charged batteries, not ONE+ packs.
- 40V: RYOBI’s separate 40V system. Do not assume 40V batteries fit 18V ONE+ tools or the gadgets in this article.
RYOBI Tools Canada’s ONE+ page describes the range this way: “With 300+ tools powered by one RYOBI 18V ONE+ lithium battery, tackle any task – Home Improvement, lawn maintenance, cleaning and beyond.” Treat that as marketing language. RYOBI US product pages use a similar “over 300” phrasing, and RYOBI UK’s anniversary page says “over 200 tools.” These are regional company claims with no stated publication dates, so they are not directly comparable counts.

The six examples below are drawn from RYOBI’s official catalog pages. They illustrate the categories rather than a ranking. Catalog availability, model numbers and bundles change, so confirm each item on the live listing before you buy.

1. 12-inch Hybrid Misting Air Cannon Fan (model PCL850B)
This is the most flexible example on the list. RYOBI’s listing for this model says it works with any 18V ONE+ battery or with an extension cord, so it doubles as a corded fan. The official specifications are 1,400 CFM of airflow, a pivoting head, and a spray range of 15 feet for the misting function. These figures belong to this model only. The 7.5-inch hybrid fan and bucket-top misting fan in the same US catalog are separate products and should be checked individually.
2. 4-inch ONE+ clamp fan (model PCF02B)
RYOBI’s US recreation catalog lists this compact clamp fan as a distinct form factor from the larger hybrid and misting fans. It suits a workbench, a tent or a clamp point where a full-size fan would not fit. Its airflow rating is not part of the catalog excerpt used here, so compare it against the listing’s stated specifications, not against the 12-inch model.

3. Multi-inflator
RYOBI’s official Middle East page for its ONE+ multi-inflator describes two main modes: a high-pressure mode for car and bicycle tires or sports balls, and a high-volume mode for airbeds, pools and beach balls. The same page says the tool also supports deflation or vacuum packing when the correct hose connection is used. This is a regional product page. Before buying, confirm that the model sold in your country has the same modes, and check its SKU rather than assuming the Middle East model number applies.
4. 18V ONE+ 150W and 200W power sources
RYOBI’s US recreation catalog lists 18V ONE+ power sources rated at 150W and 200W. These are useful for running small devices away from an outlet, such as phones, lights or a small fan, within their wattage limits. Do not confuse these with the inverters described in RYOBI’s Australian camping article, which provide 240V outlets for devices such as laptops, routers, phones, LED lights and TVs. Those are different products in different markets, and the 240V output figure does not describe the US 150W or 200W units.

5. ONE+ Bluetooth speakers and radios
The US storm-preparation catalog lists ONE+ Bluetooth speakers and radios. RYOBI’s Australian camping guide positions portable radios and Bluetooth speakers for travel and camping. These are a practical use of an existing battery when you need audio during a power cut or on site, but confirm each model’s battery requirement and whether a charger is included.
6. ONE+ area, clamp, stick and work lights
RYOBI’s US catalog shows several 18V ONE+ light types. The category covers more than one product, so choose by the job: an area light for a wide space, a clamp light for attaching to a shelf or rail, a stick light for a narrow cavity, and a work light for a bench. Lumen output and runtime are model-specific, so compare them on each product page rather than across the category.

Tool-only, kit and hybrid listings
Many RYOBI listings are tool-only, which means the battery and charger are not in the box. Some items are sold as kits that include both. A hybrid model can run on a battery or on mains power through an extension cord, but the cord is not always included. Read the “what’s included” section of each listing before assuming you can use an existing battery straight away.

How to confirm a specific model
- Open RYOBI’s official website for your country and search the model number, not the product name, because the same name can refer to different SKUs in different regions.
- Check the platform in the product title or specifications: it should say 18V ONE+ for the gadgets in this list. If it says USB Lithium or 40V, your existing 18V ONE+ battery will not fit.
- Read the “what’s included” line to see whether the listing is tool-only or a kit with a battery and charger.
- Confirm whether the model supports corded operation, and whether an extension cord is included or sold separately.
- Download the manual for the exact model and check any application-specific limits, such as load, wattage or spray-range instructions.
Where the official claims stop
RYOBI’s own statements are clear on compatibility within the 18V ONE+ range and on the size of the catalog, but they do not establish independent performance. The specifications in this article come from the manufacturer’s listings and are attributed to the models they describe. They are not measured results from third-party testing, and a figure for one model should not be applied to a different product in the same category.
