The best Minecraft Bedrock server hosting providers for most small groups are Godlike.Host, BisectHosting, and Shockbyte: Godlike.Host is our top pick for its dedicated Bedrock hosting, free starter server, and full control panel, BisectHosting offers the widest choice of locations, and Shockbyte has the clearest low-cost native Bedrock pricing. Nodecraft offers the most polished management experience, while Apex Hosting and ScalaCube are viable alternatives that each require specific verification before purchase.
This comparison uses a commercial snapshot from August 16, 2026. Prices, renewal rates, Bedrock availability, supported versions, locations, refund terms, and console-connection methods can change, so treat any “from” price as a starting signal rather than a guaranteed final bill.
The most important distinction is whether a host provides a native Bedrock server or Java hosting with Geyser crossplay. Both can allow Bedrock players to join, but they are not the same setup. Console players should also confirm the exact connection method before paying.

Key takeaways
- Godlike.Host is our top pick for most Bedrock groups: its Bedrock Edition hosting comes with a free 2 GB starter server to try the panel, up to three free backups a day, a built-in mod installer, DDoS protection, 10 data-center locations, and 24/7 live-chat and ticket support.
- BisectHosting is the strongest choice when location reach matters, because its current product page lists native Bedrock support, crossplay, 21 locations, NVMe storage, configurable backups, DDoS protection, and 24/7 support.
- Shockbyte is the clearest budget choice, with a Bedrock-specific plan listed from $3.99 per month for 1 GB of RAM, although 1 GB is not automatically suitable for large worlds or heavy add-ons.
- Nodecraft offers the strongest user experience and 28+ locations, but its Lite servers can hibernate and its normal recurring price is higher than its first-month promotional price.
- “Bedrock support,” “cross-platform,” and “unlimited slots” do not by themselves prove native Bedrock software, direct console connectivity, or unlimited practical capacity.
Which Minecraft Bedrock server host is best?
Godlike.Host is the best overall host for most small Bedrock survival groups. It has a dedicated Bedrock Edition hosting product, lets you try its panel on a free 2 GB server first, and backs paid servers with up to three free backups a day, a built-in mod installer, DDoS protection, and 24/7 live-chat and ticket support. BisectHosting is the strongest choice when location reach matters, provided its current checkout price remains competitive; it combines broad location choice, managed tools, backups, file access, support, and Java–Bedrock crossplay. Shockbyte is the best budget-first pick because its official Bedrock page publishes a clear entry price and explicitly mentions behavior-pack and add-on support. Nodecraft is the best choice for a polished control panel and multi-game flexibility, provided you understand its Lite hibernation behavior and renewal pricing.
Apex Hosting remains a reasonable beginner-friendly alternative, but its current official Bedrock pricing and product details were not verified in this research pass. ScalaCube advertises an attractive low price and extensive modpack tooling, but the captured official material is Java-focused and does not clearly establish native Bedrock hosting. If you would rather run the server yourself, the comparison of Realms, free hosting, self-hosting, and VPS options further down covers that route.
Quick comparison
| Provider | Best for | Bedrock position | Price signal | Notable features | Main reservation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Godlike.Host | Most Bedrock groups, from a first test world to a busy community | Dedicated Bedrock Edition hosting product | Free 2 GB starter server; check paid prices at checkout | Up to 3 free backups a day, built-in mod installer, add-on help from support, personal firewall, Discord bot management, 10 locations, DDoS protection, 24/7 chat and ticket support | Free server must be renewed every 3 hours; on-page offers change the price you see |
| BisectHosting | Growing communities that need many locations | Bedrock hosting and Java–Bedrock crossplay advertised | Verify current Bedrock checkout price | 21 locations, NVMe, DDoS protection, backups, file access, 24/7 support, modpacks | Simple current monthly starting price was not visible in the captured page |
| Shockbyte | Budget-conscious small groups | Native Bedrock-focused product page | From $3.99/month for 1 GB | Instant setup, add-ons and behavior packs, DDoS protection, 24/7 support, advertised 99.9% uptime | Entry-level resources may be inadequate for demanding worlds |
| Nodecraft | Best panel, support, and game switching | Bedrock and Java instances | Lite 2 GB: $5.96/month recurring; Pro 2 GB: $9.98/month recurring | 28+ locations, game swapping, file manager, SFTP, DDoS protection, cloud-backup options | Lite can hibernate; promotional first-month prices are lower than renewals |
| Apex Hosting | Beginner-friendly managed hosting | Verify current native Bedrock or crossplay offering | Verify current price | Secondary coverage credits support, backups, DDoS protection, and an easy panel | Official Bedrock pricing page was not retrievable for this comparison |
| ScalaCube | Low advertised price and multiple servers | Native Bedrock availability not clearly documented | Advertised from $2/month | Multiple servers, backups, file access, DDoS protection, modpacks, free MySQL | Captured setup instructions focus on Java; confirm Bedrock at checkout |
Prices and features in the table reflect the available commercial research snapshot, not an independent performance test. A provider’s advertised uptime percentage, hardware description, or location count does not prove lower latency, better tick performance, or better real-world reliability.
How were these Bedrock hosts compared?
The comparison prioritizes Bedrock compatibility before price. A cheap Java server that requires a complicated Geyser setup should not automatically outrank a more expensive native Bedrock service for a family or console-based group.
| Category | Weight | What matters |
|---|---|---|
| Bedrock compatibility | 25% | Native Bedrock Dedicated Server support, current versions, add-ons, console access, and crossplay |
| Value and pricing | 20% | Normal monthly price, renewal price, resources, billing commitment, taxes, and refund terms |
| Reliability and protection | 15% | DDoS protection, backups, restore tools, uptime policy, and status information |
| Performance potential | 15% | CPU allocation, storage type, location choice, I/O, and resource-contestion disclosures |
| Ease of use | 10% | Setup, panel quality, file management, world migration, and version controls |
| Support | 10% | Support channels, hours, response expectations, and Bedrock-specific knowledge |
| Scalability | 5% | RAM upgrades, additional locations, player limits, multiple instances, and crossplay options |
We ran a Godlike.Host Minecraft server ourselves in October 2026 (the results are in its section below). No controlled latency, tick-rate, load, or uptime test was performed across all six hosts, so performance potential for the others is based on documented features and product information, not a claim that one host is objectively the fastest.
1. Godlike.Host: best overall for most Bedrock players
Godlike.Host is our top pick for most Bedrock groups because it pairs a dedicated Bedrock Edition hosting product with a free way to try it and the tools a growing server needs. Its Minecraft Bedrock server hosting page lists a built-in mod installer and updater, add-on support with help from its staff, up to three free backups a day with restore, free DDoS protection, 10 data-center locations, and 24/7/365 support by live chat or ticket with an average reply time of about 20 minutes.
The panel adds tools that matter once a server has regular players: a personal firewall for player access and IP filtering, a config editor that shares a settings file by link without giving out file access, multiple independent or linked servers, a built-in store for selling in-game items, and server management through a Discord bot. Plans can be upgraded or downgraded from the panel with prorated billing, and Godlike.Host says a new Bedrock server takes up to five minutes to set up.
What we saw when we used it. We ran a Godlike.Host Minecraft server ourselves in October 2026: a Java Paper server on a 16 GB plan in its Amsterdam location, so treat the numbers as evidence about the platform rather than a Bedrock benchmark. The first start reached “Done” in 6.25 seconds, with world preparation taking 2.58 seconds. Status pings took about 1 ms from another server in Amsterdam, about 10 ms from our servers in Germany, about 84 ms from the US East Coast, and about 171 ms from India, which is why the location you pick matters more than any hardware claim. The panel is built on Pterodactyl, with SFTP access for uploading worlds and packs.
There are trade-offs to check. The free server is a way to get to know the panel rather than a permanent home: it has 2 GB of RAM and 20 slots but must be extended every three hours. On-page offers and countdown deals change the price you see, so compare the renewal price at checkout, and note that its voluntary money-back guarantee covers only a first purchase within three calendar days.
Who should choose Godlike.Host?
Choose Godlike.Host if you want a managed Bedrock server you can try before paying, with backups, mod and add-on support, and community tools in the same panel. As with every host here, confirm the connection method for Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch players and pick the data-center location closest to your group before ordering.
2. BisectHosting: best for location reach and growing communities
BisectHosting is a strong general-purpose choice for a small survival group that wants managed hosting, many locations, and room to expand. The provider’s Minecraft hosting page advertises Bedrock-capable plans, Java–Bedrock crossplay, 21 locations, NVMe storage, DDoS protection, 24/7/365 support, full FTP and file-manager access, configurable backups, server importing, game switching, and one-click modpack installation.
BisectHosting is particularly attractive when the server will grow beyond a plain vanilla world. Broad location choice helps a group place the server near most players, while file access and modpack tooling make migrations and experimentation easier. Bedrock add-ons still need confirmation at the selected checkout tier, because Java modpacks and Bedrock behavior packs are different content systems.

- Square shape adds a fun twist to traditional bowls, making mealtime more exciting.
- Made from durable melamine for long-lasting use during snacks or meals.
- Lightweight and shatterproof, ensuring safe handling for kids.
- Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, providing convenience for parents.
Backup information needs careful plan-level checking. The provider’s page describes daily backups, a seven-day backup feature in one section, and a separate standard-plan backup-slot description elsewhere. Do not assume that every plan has identical retention or restore behavior. Confirm how many backups are retained, whether backups are downloadable, and whether a restore includes add-ons and configuration files.
Who should choose BisectHosting?
Choose BisectHosting if support, locations, backups, file access, and future flexibility matter more than finding the lowest advertised entry price. Verify the current Bedrock monthly and renewal price, available locations, native add-on support, and console connection process before ordering.
3. Shockbyte: best budget-first Bedrock host
Shockbyte is the clearest budget choice for a small group that wants a dedicated paid Bedrock product with transparent entry pricing. The provider’s official Bedrock hosting page lists plans from $3.99 per month for 1 GB of RAM and explicitly advertises support for mobile, console, and PC Bedrock players, behavior packs, add-ons, instant setup, DDoS protection, 24/7 support, and a stated 99.9% uptime guarantee.
The same published plan table lists 2 GB at $7.99, 3 GB at $11.99, 4 GB at $15.99, 5 GB at $19.99, and 6 GB at $23.99 per month. Those are provider-displayed prices in the research snapshot; check whether the checkout applies a billing-term discount, tax, or a different renewal rate.
Shockbyte’s entry plan is not a universal recommendation. A 1 GB server may be a sensible starting point for a small vanilla world and a few friends, but a large explored world, high simulation distance, many entities, or several add-ons can require more memory and CPU headroom. The advertised 99.9% figure is a provider guarantee, not an independent uptime measurement.
Who should choose Shockbyte?
Choose Shockbyte when transparent Bedrock pricing and add-on support are more important than premium management features. Start with more than 1 GB if the group has more than a few concurrent players or uses demanding add-ons, then monitor memory, CPU, crashes, and tick behavior rather than relying on a RAM number alone.
4. Nodecraft: best user experience and multi-game flexibility
Nodecraft is the best fit for users who value a polished control panel, easy file management, and the option to switch between games. Nodecraft’s Minecraft page lists Bedrock support, Java and Bedrock instance options, 28+ locations, DDoS protection, file-manager and SFTP access, game swapping, save or instance functionality, and human support.
Nodecraft separates its service into Lite and Pro behavior. Lite plans can hibernate when unused, which can reduce waste for an occasional server but does not match the expectation of an always-online community server. Pro plans are designed for continuous operation. Backup behavior also varies: Lite automatically backs up on hibernation, while Pro includes manual cloud backups and weekly automatic backups with more control.
Nodecraft’s displayed prices show why renewal pricing matters. On August 18, 2026, the captured pricing showed Lite 2 GB at $4.17 for the first month and $5.96 per month afterward, Lite 4 GB at $8.34 initially and $11.92 afterward, and Lite 8 GB at $16.69 initially and $23.84 afterward. Pro 2 GB showed $6.99 initially and $9.98 afterward; Pro 4 GB showed $13.99 initially and $19.98 afterward; Pro 8 GB showed $27.99 initially and $39.98 afterward. These observations are two days later than the main August 16 commercial snapshot and should be rechecked before publication.
Nodecraft’s page emphasizes fast support, but its published support hours include 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST. “24/7 server availability” and “24/7 live support” are different claims, so confirm the support arrangement you need.
Who should choose Nodecraft?
Choose Nodecraft if the panel, game switching, world management, and support experience justify a higher recurring cost. Choose Pro for an always-online server; choose Lite only if hibernation is acceptable.

5. Apex Hosting: beginner-friendly alternative that needs price verification
Apex Hosting is a plausible managed-hosting choice for beginners, but its current Bedrock product details should be verified before it is treated as a definitive recommendation. Secondary comparison coverage from TechRadar’s Minecraft hosting guide consistently places Apex among leading Minecraft hosts and credits it with support, backups, DDoS protection, and an accessible control panel.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →The official Apex site is apexminecrafthosting.com, but the official Bedrock pricing page was not retrievable during this research pass. Exact Apex pricing, renewal rates, refund terms, locations, RAM recommendations, native Bedrock status, and console connection support should therefore not be stated as verified facts without a fresh check.
Who should choose Apex Hosting?
Consider Apex if the live product page clearly identifies a current Bedrock offering, shows the normal renewal price, and explains console access. Apex is most promising for readers who want a familiar managed panel and beginner-oriented setup rather than the lowest possible recurring price.
6. ScalaCube: low advertised price, but confirm Bedrock first
ScalaCube is potentially attractive for low-cost hosting, multiple servers, and modpack-oriented users, but native Bedrock support is not clearly established by the captured official material. ScalaCube’s official Minecraft hosting page advertises plans from $2 per month, a 50% first-invoice promotion, a seven-day money-back guarantee, multiple servers, DDoS protection, backups, full file access, free MySQL, a free domain, instant setup, and more than 3,298 modpacks.
The same page advertises unlimited slots, but ScalaCube also explains that its plans have restricted memory, CPU, and disk resources and that realistic capacity varies with installed plugins and mods. “Unlimited slots” therefore means that a hard slot quota may not be imposed; it does not mean that a low-resource server can run an unlimited number of active players smoothly.

One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchThe key concern is edition compatibility. The captured setup instructions explicitly focus on selecting Minecraft Java server hosting and do not clearly document a native Bedrock product. Confirm all of the following at checkout: whether the product is native Bedrock or Java with Geyser, whether the $2 price applies to Bedrock, whether behavior packs work, and whether Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch users can connect through the normal method.
Who should choose ScalaCube?
Choose ScalaCube only after the live checkout clearly confirms the Bedrock product you need. If the provider cannot document native Bedrock or a workable console path, ScalaCube belongs on an alternatives-to-investigate list rather than a final Bedrock recommendation.
How much RAM does a Bedrock server need?
RAM ranges are useful starting points, not guaranteed player limits. A small vanilla world with a few friends can often begin around 1–2 GB; a larger casual group or light add-ons is better approached at 3–4 GB; heavier add-ons, larger worlds, or more simultaneous players may justify 4–8 GB or more.
| Starting range | Reasonable use case | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 GB | Small vanilla world and a few friends | May struggle with heavy add-ons, large exploration areas, or many entities |
| 3–4 GB | Larger casual group or light add-ons | Still depends on CPU, simulation distance, world activity, and concurrent players |
| 4–8 GB | Heavier add-ons, larger worlds, or more simultaneous players | Additional RAM cannot fix weak CPU allocation or high network latency |
| 8 GB or more | Community servers, larger populations, or unusually demanding content | Requires meaningful CPU and storage capacity as well as memory |
Mojang’s Bedrock Dedicated Server documentation lists 4 GB of RAM as part of the server system requirements and explains that larger worlds or more players require additional memory, storage, and processing power. The official requirements do not define a universal rented-host plan for a particular player count.
Capacity depends on world size, simulation distance, view distance, entities, redstone and farms, add-ons, storage I/O, CPU allocation, node contention, and the number of concurrent players. More RAM cannot compensate for a weak processor, overloaded host node, poor configuration, or a server location far from the players.
What is the difference between native Bedrock hosting and Java crossplay?
Native Bedrock hosting runs Bedrock-compatible server software, while Java crossplay normally runs a Java server with Geyser and often Floodgate. Mojang’s official Bedrock Dedicated Server page provides free server software intended for Bedrock multiplayer and documents Windows and Ubuntu/Linux support.

Geyser can allow Bedrock clients to join a Java server, and Floodgate can simplify authentication for Bedrock players, but a Java server with Geyser is not identical to a native Bedrock server. Plugin, mod, add-on, command, redstone, mechanics, and update behavior can differ.
Ask a host these precise questions before ordering:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- Is the server genuinely native Bedrock, or is it Java with Geyser?
- Is Geyser preinstalled, available through one click, or manually configured?
- Is Floodgate supported?
- Can Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch users connect directly?
- Does console access require a custom DNS record, tunneling service, or workaround?
- Are Bedrock behavior packs and resource packs supported separately from Java plugins and mods?
- Can the server version be updated or rolled back after a Bedrock client update?
Do not treat the words “cross-platform” or “Bedrock support” as proof of native Bedrock software or straightforward console connectivity.
Can Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch players join any Bedrock server?
No; a host can support Bedrock server software while console players still face platform-specific restrictions around entering an external server address. Bedrock is available on Windows, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS, and Mojang’s server documentation describes cross-platform Bedrock connections using a server address and port. The exact console interface and account or network restrictions can still affect how a player joins.
Before purchasing, ask the host for current instructions specifically for the console your group uses. A server that works from Windows or mobile may not appear in the normal external-server list on a console. A provider should explain whether its advertised console support is direct, requires a DNS workaround, or depends on a third-party service.
What should a Bedrock host include besides RAM?
The most important buying criteria are native Bedrock compatibility, a server region close to most players, credible CPU allocation, usable backups, DDoS protection, an accessible panel, world and add-on upload support, console guidance, responsive support, normal renewal pricing, refund terms, and a clear upgrade path.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Storage type matters, but an NVMe label alone does not establish better gameplay. Likewise, a provider’s location count is useful only when the desired Bedrock plan can actually be deployed in the selected region. Check player-slot, storage, backup-storage, port, IP, DNS, and add-on-file limits before treating a plan as comparable to another provider’s plan.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How should you compare backups?
A serious Bedrock host should make backups automatic, restorable, downloadable, and understandable at the plan level. Check whether backups are automatic or manual, local or off-site, how often they run, how long they are retained, whether they consume plan storage, and whether a restore overwrites the current world.
A good backup process should also include configuration files, behavior packs, resource packs, and other files required to reproduce the world. Download periodic offline copies of important worlds instead of relying solely on the host’s backup system. Test a restore on a separate instance when possible, because a backup that exists but cannot be restored safely is not dependable protection.
Godlike.Host lists up to three free backups a day, with restores from its panel. BisectHosting advertises daily and multi-day backup features, but the exact retention language differs across sections of its page. Nodecraft distinguishes Lite hibernation backups from Pro cloud-backup controls. These differences are why the selected plan, rather than the provider name alone, determines the real backup protection.

How do you migrate an existing Bedrock world?
World migration normally requires more than uploading a single world folder. Depending on the server software and host, you may need to upload the world folder, world_behavior_packs.json, world_resource_packs.json, behavior-pack files, resource-pack files, and relevant server configuration files.

- The user of this app will feel an incredible encounter of it since it doesn't gobble up RAM storage from the telephone.
- The app size file is light that is just 15.7 MB, therefore, once you consider downloading it or keep within your gadget will turn out convenient.
- This app will teach you which hosting support what special services
- Unlike any boatable apps, this app will not redirect online rather than read your external storage.
- Stop the old server cleanly and create an independent downloadable backup.
- Record the world name, server version, simulation settings, seed information, and installed add-ons.
- Upload the world and associated pack files through the new host’s file manager or SFTP.
- Set the new server to use the migrated world and activate the required packs in the world settings.
- Start the server with the matching Bedrock version and inspect the console log for missing files or version errors.
- Connect first with an administrator account, check inventories and structures, and only then invite the group.
File paths and upload procedures vary by provider. Do not assume a Java world path, plugin directory, or mod-loader instruction applies to a native Bedrock server.
What happens when Bedrock updates?
A Bedrock client update can temporarily make a server incompatible if the host has not published the matching server build. Before updating, check the client version, server version, host update policy, automatic-update behavior, rollback options, and preview or pre-release support. Make a backup before changing the server version.
Shockbyte explicitly advertises pre-release and full-release support, but that remains a provider claim rather than a guarantee that every build will be available immediately. A cautious owner should wait for confirmation that the server build and the installed add-ons are compatible before allowing the entire group to update.
What do “unlimited slots” and “24/7 support” really mean?
“Unlimited slots” usually means the host does not impose a simple hard slot quota; it does not mean unlimited practical capacity. CPU, RAM, disk I/O, storage, fair-use policies, add-on file limits, backup capacity, and network protection can all constrain a server. ScalaCube’s own page makes this qualification clear by describing restricted resources and variable player capacity.
“24/7 support” also does not necessarily mean a live agent is available every minute. It may mean tickets can be submitted at any time. A 24/7 server is a separate claim about whether the instance stays online. Nodecraft’s published support hours illustrate why readers should check the actual support channel and hours rather than treating every support label as identical.
Are Minecraft Realms, free hosting, self-hosting, or a VPS better?
| Option | Best for | Advantages | Limitations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minecraft Realms | Simplest official setup | Low maintenance and official integration | Less file, software, and administrative control; verify current price and limits |
| Paid managed Bedrock host | Most families and small communities | 24/7 hosting, control panel, support, backups, and easier migration | Recurring cost and provider-specific limits |
| Free third-party host | Testing and occasional experiments | No or very low rental cost | Queues, sleep timers, ads, restricted resources, and less predictable backups or uptime |
| Self-hosted Bedrock server | Owners with suitable hardware and networking | The official server software is free and offers direct control | You manage ports, updates, backups, security, hardware, and availability |
| VPS | Technical users needing root access | Flexible software, locations, automation, and administration | More setup and security responsibility than managed game hosting |
Mojang provides the official Bedrock Dedicated Server software through its server download page. Self-hosting avoids a hosting rental, but it does not avoid the work of configuring networking, applying updates, monitoring the server, creating backups, and protecting the machine.
What should you verify before paying?
- Edition: Confirm native Bedrock versus Java with Geyser.
- Console access: Ask for current Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch connection instructions.
- Price: Record the introductory price, renewal price, billing term, VAT or sales tax, and optional charges.
- Resources: Check CPU allocation, RAM, storage, player limits, and add-on-file limits.
- Backups: Confirm frequency, retention, download access, included files, and restore procedure.
- Updates: Ask how quickly new Bedrock versions are supported and whether rollback is possible.
- Migration: Confirm that existing worlds and their behavior/resource packs can be uploaded.
- Availability: Confirm the selected region and whether the plan stays online continuously.
- Support: Distinguish ticket availability from live-agent hours.
- Exit plan: Check the refund policy and download a copy of the world before cancellation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Minecraft Bedrock server host for Xbox players?
Godlike.Host is our top overall pick, BisectHosting offers the widest location choice, and Shockbyte is the clearest budget candidate, but Xbox connectivity must be confirmed with the host before purchase. Bedrock software support alone does not prove that an Xbox player can enter the server through the console’s normal external-server interface.
Can Java and Bedrock players play together on a hosted Minecraft server?
Yes, Java and Bedrock players can sometimes play together through a Java server configured with Geyser and often Floodgate. Java–Bedrock crossplay is different from native Bedrock hosting, so verify the provider’s setup, supported features, console method, and add-on or plugin compatibility.
Is 1 GB of RAM enough for a Minecraft Bedrock server?
One to two gigabytes can be a starting point for a small vanilla world and a few friends, but 1 GB is not a universal player-capacity guarantee. World size, simulation distance, entities, farms, add-ons, CPU allocation, storage I/O, and concurrent players all affect capacity.
Are unlimited Minecraft server slots really unlimited?
Unlimited slots usually means the provider has removed a fixed slot quota, not that the server can run unlimited players smoothly. RAM, CPU, disk I/O, fair-use rules, add-ons, backups, and network policies still impose practical limits.
Is a VPS better than managed Bedrock hosting?
A VPS is better for technical users who want root access and control over installation, automation, and security. Managed Bedrock hosting is usually better for families and small groups that want a simpler panel, provider-managed infrastructure, easier backups, and less server administration.
