There is no reliable, game-wide top-six crop ranking for Fae Farm: the strongest choices depend on the season or realm, how consistently you water, and whether you sell the harvest raw or process it. For a practical raw-crop comparison, CozyProfit’s estimates put Cucumber first in spring, Tomato in summer, Tomatillo in autumn, Chili Pepper in winter, and Crystal Pepper in the Fae Realm. If you want six crops in one comparable list, the Fae-only ranking adds Magic Bean, Azure Spud, Candy Corn, Flame Heart, and Frost Beet behind Crystal Pepper.

Best crops for Florins depend on where and when you grow

Seasonal crops and Fae crops are not interchangeable entries in a single contest: they grow in different contexts and depend on crop variants. CozyProfit’s calculator offers a seasonal baseline, while its separate Fae ranking compares crops in the Fae context. Both pages provide modeled estimates, not official game statistics or verified player-test results.

For a seasonal shortlist, the calculator’s leading candidates are Cucumber for spring, Tomato for summer, Tomatillo for autumn, and Chili Pepper for winter. For a Fae Realm shortlist, Crystal Pepper ranks first in the separate Fae ranking. The figures below are CozyProfit estimates under its calculator assumptions: midpoint price and yield estimates, no fertilizer, a 28-day window, daily watering, and raw-harvest selling. The site says its data is community-sourced and accuracy may vary.

Growing context Top candidate Modeled profit/day Runner-up Modeled profit/day
Spring Cucumber 16.35 Sugar Peas 4.49
Summer Tomato 17.66 Eggplant 5.48
Autumn Tomatillo 18.97 Pumpkin 6.79
Winter Chili Pepper 20.61 Acorn Squash 7.45
Fae Crystal Pepper See Fae ranking note below Magic Bean See Fae ranking note below

The Fae figures are deliberately not merged into the seasonal table values. CozyProfit’s separate Fae ranking reports Crystal Pepper at 14.38 modeled profit/day and Magic Bean at 3.84; its calculator preview instead displays 23.90 and 8.10. The rankings agree on order but not magnitude, so treat the sources as inconsistent and do not regard either pair as a definitive Fae return.

Six Fae Realm crops to compare

If you need six crops that share one growing context, CozyProfit’s Fae ranking lists the following in order. Its page models a 28-day window, midpoint estimates, no fertilizer, and raw crop sales without recipes or processing; it cautions that watering consistency and fertilizer can change results.

Rank Fae crop Modeled profit/day Growth timing stated by CozyProfit
1 Crystal Pepper 14.38 12 days to first harvest; 4 days per regrowth
2 Magic Bean 3.84 12 days to first harvest; 4 days per regrowth
3 Azure Spud 1.09 4 days to harvest
4 Candy Corn 1.00 8 days to harvest
5 Flame Heart 0.57 8 days to harvest
6 Frost Beet 0.48 4 days to harvest

These are calculator outputs rather than guaranteed Florins per in-game day. The Fae ranking’s estimates depend on its midpoint price and yield assumptions, and it does not establish a net-profit calculation after seed costs.

How crop variants and watering affect the comparison

Use crop-swap fertilizer to get local variants

Fae Farm has six base seed families: Turnip, Cauliflower, Beans, Potato, Corn, and Pepper. Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer turns a base seed into a seasonal or Fae variant. For example, the Turnip family can become Radish in spring, Carrot in summer, Beet in autumn, Fennel in winter, or Frost Beet in Fae Acres. Nintendo Life’s crop guide lists the families and variants; the CozyProfit crop calculator and Fae ranking use the resulting crop names in their estimates.

Growth time means repeated watering

The first harvest takes repeated waterings: Turnip and Potato families need four, Cauliflower and Corn need eight, and Beans and Pepper need twelve. Beans and Pepper regrow after four additional waterings. CozyProfit’s models assume daily watering, so missed days delay growth and can reduce modeled profit per day.

Plan around the season change

Crops wither at the start of a new season, including crops described as all-season. That makes the days remaining in a season important: a crop that needs repeated watering may not yield in time if planted late. CozyProfit treats a season as 28 days for its calculator window; Nintendo Life’s guide confirms seasonal withering but does not state a season length.

Seeds, soil, and the limits of a raw-sale ranking

Holly sells seeds at the town market, with access tied to farming level. Nintendo Life’s 2023 guide lists these seed prices and unlock requirements:

Potato Level 10 10 Florins
Corn Level 15 15 Florins
Pepper Level 20 20 Florins

Those are seed prices from the guide, not proof that CozyProfit’s profit/day figures subtract seed costs. The calculator describes modeled crop-sale comparisons, so do not read its rankings as confirmed net profit after every input or as a comparison of processed recipes. The guide also identifies basic, flower, hydro, seasonal, and Fae soils, each with different functions; soil choice and fertilizer can change how a particular setup performs.

How to use the rankings for your farm

  1. Choose the context first. Compare spring crops with spring crops, or use the Fae-only list for Fae Acres; do not treat all six entries as if they can be planted under identical conditions.
  2. Check remaining season days. Account for the waterings needed before the first harvest and remember that crops wither when the season changes.
  3. Decide whether you are selling raw or processing. The cited rankings model raw harvest sales, not recipe or processing returns.
  4. Treat estimates as a planning aid. CozyProfit’s midpoint assumptions and community data provide a consistent baseline, but actual results can shift with watering, fertilizer, and your crop setup.

The exact-title recommendations sometimes repeated online—Golden Wheat, Fairy Roses, Mana Melons, Starfruit, Enchanted Berries, and Moonflower—do not match the six documented crop families and their seasonal and Fae variants in Nintendo Life’s crop table. They are not supported recommendations for this comparison.
