The supplied title promises four HOKA shoes currently on sale, but the available source does not verify a four-shoe lineup or any live prices for October 7, 2026. Tom’s Guide’s July 15, 2026 article named three discounted picks—the Challenger 8, Skyflow and Cielo X1 2.0—and mentioned the Clifton 10 separately. Its prices are historical, not confirmed current offers.
What the July 2026 article actually recommended
Tom’s Guide’s July 15, 2026 article, by Senior Writer Nick Harris-Fry, featured three picks and separately noted a Clifton 10 discount. It did not present these as a four-shoe shortlist. The reported US-dollar prices below are the article’s dated claims, not verified offers for October 7, 2026. Read the July 15 article.

Clifton 10: cushioned daily running
Tom’s Guide’s 2025 HOKA guide characterizes the Clifton 10 as a cushioned daily trainer with a smooth ride. That is the publication’s assessment, not a guarantee that the shoe will suit every runner. See the October 25, 2025 guide.
#1 Best Overall
Challenger 8: road-to-trail versatility
The July article recommends the Challenger 8 for road running and light trails. Harris-Fry describes it as “a comfortable road-to-trail shoe that offers a lot of versatility as a daily trainer.” This is an attributed assessment, not a controlled comparison with the other models.
Skyflow: another cushioned daily trainer
The Skyflow is also presented as a cushioned daily trainer. The available material does not provide a head-to-head test establishing how its ride compares with the Clifton 10.
Rank #2
- ENGINEERED MESH
- Lining Textile
Cielo X1 2.0: carbon-plated racing
The Cielo X1 2.0 is the racing-oriented option among the three featured picks, described as a carbon-plated racer. The source does not establish that it is appropriate for every race distance or runner.
Other HOKA models mentioned for comparison
Tom’s Guide’s 2025 guide draws a few useful distinctions beyond the four models in the sale article:
Rank #3
- The ultra-cushioned game-changer
- One of the hardest working shoes in the HOKA lineup, the Bondi 9 delivers peak plushness for everyday miles. Overhauled from top to bottom, we’ve increased the stack height and added a new premium foam midsole to deliver that soft, resilient ride that’s become synonymous with the Bondi. Elevated with a 3D molded collar and structured knit upper with zonal breathability, this ultra-cushioned cult favorite has been finished with Durabrasion rubber to combat high wear zones.
- Engineered mesh with 55% recycled polyester
- Reflective upper details
- Extended heel pull
- Bondi 9: described as more cushioned than the Clifton 10.
- Arahi 8: described as similar to the Clifton 10, with added stability for runners who overpronate.
These are guide-level characterizations. They do not replace trying on shoes or assessing your own fit and running needs.

A dated article price alone cannot establish a current bargain. Before buying, confirm the offer on the retailer’s live listing for your market:
- Open the retailer’s listing for the exact model and check the displayed price against the regular price shown there.
- Select your size, width, and color. Confirm that the price and availability still apply to that specific combination.
- Check the seller and delivery region, since a listing or promotion may differ by retailer and market.
- Compare the live listing with another authorized retailer if you need to judge whether the discount is meaningful.
