These 30 therapist websites offer useful ideas for making a practice’s services, audience, logistics, and next steps easier to understand. They are examples to study—not a verified ranking of therapists, clinical quality, accessibility, privacy, or conversion performance. Colorlib’s September 10, 2026 review examined selected live sites for details such as fees, insurance, availability, and booking; it did not report conversion testing. A clinician-reviewed Psychology.com collection likewise describes editorial examples, not measured rankings. Colorlib’s 2026 article and Psychology.com’s guide provide the source observations summarized here.

What makes these therapist website examples useful?

The practical lesson is not to copy a particular color palette or layout. Make it straightforward for a prospective client to understand who the practice serves, where it operates, what services it offers, whether it is accepting clients, how fees and insurance work, and what to do next. Those details help people assess fit; they do not establish clinical quality or guarantee business results.

In Colorlib’s selected sample of 30 sites, its September 2026 article reported that 25 named at least three specialties, 23 stated credentials, and 22 placed a booking control in the first screen. Practical logistics were less consistently visible: 7 said whether they were accepting clients, 15 published a fee somewhere on the site, and 12 addressed insurance. These are counts from that selected sample, not industry-wide rates. Colorlib

Colorlib describes prospective clients’ priority questions as “are you taking new clients, what does it cost, and do you take my insurance?” That phrasing is the article’s editorial framing, not the result of a published survey.

30 therapist website examples and the ideas they illustrate

Colorlib’s September 10, 2026 article says it reviewed 30 selected live sites in a browser and followed a fee page or booking route where available. It covers psychotherapists, counsellors, and psychologists—not physical therapy, massage therapy, or nutritional therapy. Its platform and site observations reflect the time of review and may have changed. They are not endorsements or verification of credentials. Colorlib

  1. Jessica Meiman: A solo-practice portrait, New York and Connecticut online-therapy service area, and free-consultation call to action make the entry point clear. Colorlib lists Webflow.
  2. Michelle Harwell Therapy: An actual office chair gives visitors a setting cue, while a fee range is one click away. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  3. Jeff Miller: A Pacific-coast image, prominent booking control, telehealth notice, homepage fee, and insurance information share the first screen. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  4. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy LA: The site foregrounds doctoral-level expertise and science-oriented copy; its Fees/Insurance page discusses reimbursement without stating a fee. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  5. Milja Brecher: A stark black-and-white layout puts the clinician’s name, credentials, and a short service list up front. Colorlib describes the build as bespoke.
  6. Angie Richey: A warm neutral palette and large portrait center the solo clinician; the contact route is the way in, and Colorlib reports no fee on the site. It describes the build as bespoke.
  7. Greta Strickland: A sharply defined audience statement pairs with a checklist-like set of specialties, including anxiety, perfectionism, and burnout. Colorlib lists Wix.
  8. Jennifer Mancuso Urban: Focused audience and specialty information appears alongside a homepage session fee and insurance details. Colorlib describes the site as bespoke and lists SimplePractice scheduling.
  9. Brent LoCaste-Wilken: A free 15-minute call and Zencare badge sit in the first screen alongside a deep-green identity; Colorlib reports a homepage fee and insurance information. It lists Webflow and Zencare scheduling.
  10. Authentic Self Consulting: The audience comes before the service in the phrase “affirmative depth psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ folx.” Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  11. Therapy With Joy: A distinctive direct headline and acceptance banner give the site a clear tone and capacity signal. Colorlib lists Squarespace.

Fees, insurance, and practice logistics

  1. Wholeness Collective Therapy Group: A restrained cream-and-green identity pairs with a separate rates page, and insurance is addressed. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  2. MLC Dallas: A concise headline combines Dallas with couples, individual, and premarital services; rates are itemized on a separate page. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  3. Ever Be Therapy: The site says the caseload is full and recommends other therapists, a useful way to communicate lack of capacity. Colorlib also reports fees, insurance, and a free consultation; it lists WordPress.
  4. Nancy Ortiz: The fees page separates the intake fee from the ongoing-session fee. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  5. Zoe Riggs: Dedicated Rates and Availability navigation destinations make two often-missing practical details easy to locate. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  6. Somatic Therapy Tampa: Bilingual positioning and out-of-network information are stated openly. Colorlib lists WordPress and Psychology Today scheduling.
  7. Cindy Shu Therapy: The headline states immediate online openings, and a Forms and Fees page combines two practical topics. Colorlib lists Wix.

Matching, booking, and clear next steps

  1. Tampa Counseling Place: A group practice opens with a direct question to the visitor and uses a real scheduling system. Colorlib lists WordPress and SimplePractice scheduling.
  2. Collective Psychology: Three clinic locations appear as plain-text links in a restrained layout; insurance and a free consultation are also noted. Colorlib lists WordPress and Halaxy scheduling.
  3. SR Psychological Services: A group-practice matching presentation and appointment button emphasize finding a suitable therapist in New York. Colorlib reports insurance information and a free consultation; it lists WordPress.
  4. The Empowering Space: A short quiz routes visitors by therapist, concern, and state, with insurance logos visible. Colorlib lists WordPress.
  5. Deep Eddy Psychotherapy: A group-practice search flow combines type of care, location, and insurance before scheduling. Colorlib lists WordPress.
  6. Couples Learn: Online couples therapy, service geography, a free 15-minute consultation, and a relationship quiz define the entry path. Colorlib lists WordPress.

Capacity, setting, and service type

  1. Sara Douglas: The site is for neuropsychological evaluation rather than talk therapy and organizes around assessments. Colorlib lists Wix.
  2. Child and Family Therapy Collective: A photograph of the actual playroom helps parents picture the setting and modality. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  3. Jaree Basgall: An availability banner states acceptance for the year and explains that new clients join a waitlist. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  4. Alexandria Art Therapy: A prominent banner states there is no waitlist and evening and weekend openings; art materials visually explain the modality. Colorlib lists Squarespace.
  5. Attuned Psychology: The Adelaide practice states that appointments are available and distinguishes in-person care from telehealth. Colorlib lists WordPress.
  6. Embrace Corazón: Purple, marigold, and dragonfly imagery supports a culture- and connection-centered identity. Colorlib describes it as Latina-owned and based in Chicago; it lists WordPress.

Patterns to adapt for your own practice website

Make availability a current, specific answer

Only 7 of Colorlib’s 30 selected sites stated whether they were accepting clients. Examples show different useful approaches: Ever Be Therapy says its caseload is full and recommends other therapists, while Jaree Basgall explains that new clients join a waitlist. Alexandria Art Therapy gives a more immediate signal with no-waitlist and evening/weekend openings. An availability statement should reflect the practice’s current situation rather than leave visitors to infer it from a generic contact button. Colorlib

Put fees where visitors can find them

Colorlib reports that 15 of the 30 sites published a fee somewhere, but only 3 put a fee on the homepage. Examples illustrate several levels of detail: Michelle Harwell Therapy uses a range; MLC Dallas itemizes rates on a separate page; Nancy Ortiz distinguishes the intake fee from the ongoing-session fee. A clearly labeled Rates or Fees page can be useful even when the full explanation is not on the homepage. Colorlib

Explain insurance and self-pay arrangements plainly

Only 12 of Colorlib’s 30 sites addressed insurance. The examples range from Jeff Miller’s homepage information to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy LA’s reimbursement discussion without a stated fee, and Somatic Therapy Tampa’s explicit out-of-network information. Describe the arrangements that apply to the practice rather than relying on logos or implying that every clinician, service, or plan is covered. Colorlib

Connect audience, location, services, and credentials

A strong first impression answers fit questions quickly. Jessica Meiman states a two-state online service area; MLC Dallas combines location with couples, individual, and premarital services; Authentic Self Consulting names its LGBTQ+ audience before the therapy approach. A credential statement can establish relevant professional background, but it should be accurate and clearly distinguished from specialties, training, and publications.

Psychology.com’s clinician-reviewed examples add other useful approaches: Songbird Counseling Services keeps scope, Washington service area, and payment information together; Self Embrace Therapy names its New York virtual service and queer-affirming focus; Human Nurture Counseling separates prenatal and postpartum services; Dr. Chandler Puhy distinguishes therapy from testing and evaluation; Grace Therapy & Wellness separates service routes and notes that insurance arrangements vary by clinician; Alison Petok separates licensure, training, and publications. The guide describes its collection as a working set of examples rather than a league table. Psychology.com

Make the next step match the practice

A call to action may lead to a contact form, consultation, booking system, or matching flow. Colorlib counted a booking control in the first screen on 22 sites, but its funnel found that only 18 of those led to an openable page, 11 led to a page with a published price, and none showed an available time on the destination page. These are separate measures: a visible booking invitation is not the same as a working route, a published fee, or a displayed appointment slot. Colorlib

The examples show different ways to shape that next step. Tampa Counseling Place uses a real scheduling system; Collective Psychology offers location links; The Empowering Space uses a short quiz; Deep Eddy Psychotherapy combines care type, location, and insurance in a search flow. The best route depends on how the practice handles intake and matching.

What the platform counts do—and do not—tell you

Colorlib reported the following platform counts for the 30 sites it selected and reviewed. These describe that sample at review time; they do not establish which platform is best or indicate that a platform caused a site’s results.

Platform Sites in Colorlib’s 30-site sample
Squarespace 12
WordPress 10
Wix 3
Webflow 2
Other or not specified in the reported counts 3

The guide identifies examples using bespoke builds as well as several scheduling tools, including SimplePractice, Halaxy, Zencare, and Psychology Today scheduling. Its counts also report that 2 of 30 sites embedded a real scheduling system. This is a description of the reviewed examples, not a platform comparison or endorsement. Colorlib

How to choose a website setup for a therapy practice

There is no single best builder for every practice. Psychology.com’s clinician-reviewed comparison names Squarespace and Wix for general-purpose editing, WordPress for a theme-and-hosting route, Webflow for a more deliberate design workflow, Carrd for a compact first site, and Brighter Vision and TherapySites as therapist-focused packages. Its offer details were checked September 26, 2026; price, billing, domain, email, scheduling, and outside support can change the total, so confirm current terms before choosing. Psychology.com

Choose based on who will write, update, and support the site. A builder alone does not establish that forms, scheduling, hosting, or tracking meet applicable privacy obligations. SimplePractice’s vendor-authored article discusses responsive design and cautions about soliciting testimonials; because professional rules differ, practitioners should check the requirements that apply to their role and jurisdiction rather than assume one universal rule. SimplePractice

How to use these examples without overreading them

Colorlib says its review used a 1280×860 browser view, followed a fee page or booking route where available, and visually rechecked availability after automated text matching missed some line breaks. It is a dated editorial audit of selected examples, not a representative sample of the profession. Psychology.com says its examples were reviewed September 26, 2026, and that it did not verify qualifications, insurance claims, outcomes, speed, accessibility, or privacy. Treat the sites as sources of design and information patterns, then verify any live details directly before relying on them. Colorlib Psychology.com
