Verified 20MP front-camera phone and listed price
| Phone and configuration | Front-camera specification | India price listed | Price context |
|---|---|---|---|
| POCO X7 5G, base model | 20MP, f/2.2 | ₹17,999 | Smartprix list updated 2 October 2026; the cited entry does not specify the memory configuration. |

Smartprix supplies the price entries and identifies the 20MP front camera; Xiaomi’s POCO X7 specifications confirm the 20MP f/2.2 camera. The published figures are useful for comparison, but they do not confirm today’s seller price or stock.
What the POCO X7’s selfie camera supports
Xiaomi lists front-camera night and portrait modes and video recording up to 1080p at 60fps. The phone’s other listed specifications include a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP rear-camera system, a 6.67-inch 120Hz display and a 5,500mAh battery. These details describe the device; they are not evidence that its selfies outperform another phone.

Does a 20MP selfie camera mean better selfies?
No. Megapixels describe image resolution, not overall image quality. A 20MP label alone does not establish how well a camera focuses, handles dim light, preserves detail or renders skin tones. The available POCO X7 product specifications list resolution, aperture, modes and video capability, but do not provide comparative real-world test results. If selfie quality is the priority, look for sample photos and video from the exact India model rather than choosing by megapixel count alone.

How to check a listing before you buy
- Confirm the full model name is POCO X7 5G and that the listing is for the India variant.
- Check the RAM and storage configuration. The dated list has separate entries for the base model and 8GB RAM + 256GB version.
- Verify the current seller price, stock, delivery terms and return conditions on the retailer’s checkout page; the ₹17,999 and ₹19,999 figures are dated comparison-list prices.
- Match the front-camera specification against Xiaomi’s official specifications page, especially if a seller listing claims a different camera.
- Compare selfie samples, focus behavior and low-light performance if those matter more to you than the resolution figure.
Why not treat every “20MP phone” list as a buying shortlist?
Category pages can be stale or inconsistent. The 91mobiles page labelled for 20MP front cameras includes examples that its own specifications identify as having 32MP or 50MP front cameras. Giznext’s opened page is marked as updated 26 April 2026, despite a search-result snippet framing it as an October 2026 page. MySmartPrice’s October under-₹20,000 selfie-phone list is broader budget context, not a list restricted to 20MP cameras, and it notes that prices can vary by store and location.
Smartprix also lists the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 at ₹16,499, POCO F7 5G at ₹35,999, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G at ₹31,999, POCO X8 Pro at ₹42,990, POCO X8 Pro Max at ₹48,999 and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G at ₹25,899. Those are dated list entries, not a verified ranking or live availability check. The available evidence does not independently establish that each is an exact 20MP match, so verify its India variant and official camera specification before treating it as one.
