As displayed on 7 October 2026, 1Password’s personal plans are priced at $2.99 per month for Individual and $4.49 per month for Families, billed annually, with a first-year promotion for new direct subscribers. Their regular prices are $3.99 and $5.99 per month. Teams Starter Pack costs $24.95 per month for 10 members, and Business costs $8.99 per user per month, both billed annually. Enterprise has no public price and requires a quote. 1Password sells software subscriptions, not one-time licenses, so every figure below is a recurring fee.

What the monthly figures cost over a year
The headline personal and business rates are monthly equivalents on annual billing. You pay the full year up front, so a “$2.99 per month” plan is a $35.88 annual charge. The table converts each published rate to an annual total so you can compare plans on the same basis.

Personal plans: Individual and Families
Individual
Individual covers one person. The lower $2.99 rate applies only during the first year and only to new customers who subscribe directly through 1Password.com. The promotion is not available through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or other third-party app stores. If you buy through an app store, expect the regular $3.99 monthly equivalent, and check that store’s own billing terms.
Families
Families is the better value when more than one person in a household needs an account. At the promotional $4.49 rate, five members pay about $0.90 each per month. At the regular $5.99 rate, the same five members pay about $1.20 each. The promotion terms match those on the personal page, so the same new-customer and direct-subscription conditions apply.

Team and business plans
Teams Starter Pack
Teams Starter Pack is priced for a small group. The $24.95 monthly base covers 10 members. Each additional seat adds $4.99 per month on annual billing, up to 20 members in total. Because the per-seat rate is published, you can calculate a team total before you buy. Confirm the seat count and annual billing basis at checkout, because the pricing page does not itself show a full-team total.

Enterprise Password Manager
1Password lists Enterprise Password Manager as “Request a quote.” The public pages do not give a per-seat price, and the vendor describes pricing as customized and volume-based. Do not budget from a public number for this tier. Ask 1Password for a quote, and specify your user count, guest needs, and required features so the quote reflects your organization.

Trials, guests, and what counts toward your seats
Individual, Families, Teams Starter Pack, and Business each carry a 14-day trial. The personal pricing FAQ states: “You can try 1Password Individual or Families free for 14 days before choosing a plan.” The business pricing FAQ says the same for 1Password Business.

Guests are a separate allowance from paid seats. Under the 1Password subscription billing policy, Families includes five family members and five guests, Teams Starter Pack includes 10 team members and five guests, and Business includes 20 guests. Guests are not paid seats, so a guest allowance does not lower your per-user cost, and a plan’s guest count should not be treated as extra capacity you pay for.
Payment and billing details
- Billing is annual for every published plan. The monthly figures are equivalents, so plan the annual amount.
- The pricing FAQs list credit card and eligible U.S. ACH payments. The business pricing page also mentions AWS procurement. Check which options apply to your account before you commit.
- The published prices are in U.S. dollars. The vendor pages checked do not establish country-specific taxes or regional prices, so your final amount may differ.
How to choose a plan by cost
- One person: Individual. Subscribe directly through 1Password.com to qualify for the $2.99 first-year rate.
- Up to five people in one household: Families. It costs less per person than paying for multiple Individual accounts.
- Up to 20 people in a small team: Teams Starter Pack. Use the team table above to find your annual total at your seat count.
- Larger teams that need business controls: Business. Multiply the paid users by $107.88 for an annual estimate.
- Organization-wide deployment: Enterprise. Request a quote and share your seat count and requirements.
Before you buy any tier, start the 14-day trial to confirm the plan fits your workflow, and then set the annual total against the number of people who actually need an account.
What these figures do not cover
The published pages show plan prices, seat rules, and guest allowances. They do not establish how each price applies in every country, how sales tax is added, or whether a discount is available beyond the listed promotion. For those details, confirm the figure in your checkout flow or request a quote for organization-level terms.
