These 18 architecture-related websites offer different ways to present buildings, practices and design work online. The list deliberately mixes architecture firms’ own sites with architecture, art and design projects recognized in 2026 awards; those projects are useful visual inspiration, but they are not all firm portfolio websites. The examples were selected for their relevance to project storytelling, portfolio organization, visual identity and visitor usefulness—not as a universal ranking of website quality.
How to read this list
Award status is one way to discover current work, not proof that a website is the best fit for every architecture practice. The Web Marketing Association’s Architecture category is specifically about architecture websites. The Webby Awards’ Architecture, Art & Design category is broader and includes different kinds of architecture- and design-related work. The recognitions below retain their exact category and status.
For evaluating an architecture portfolio, useful questions include whether project pages explain context and design response, whether work is easy to browse, whether imagery is presented honestly and credited, and whether a visitor can understand the practice and its people. These are selection ideas attributed to Nakada Design’s July 2026 agency roundup, not an independent industry standard.
18 architecture website designs to explore
1. One Bangkok Website
The Web Marketing Association named One Bangkok Website the 2026 Best Architecture website. Its award rubric covers “design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation and content.” The association says the 2026 competition has ended. This is the clearest architecture-specific award in this selection; it should not be confused with a Webby Award.
#1 Best Overall
- 18x24 Art Portfolio Folder: Include 1 pack presentation book with 30 plastic sleeves which display on two sides, letting you show 60 pages. Folder measures 25 1/4" (L) x 19 1/4" (W) x 1 1/8" (H). It fits 18.35 x 24" letter size or smaller. Made from durable polypropylene which is archival quality, acid-free, non-stick, and non-glare, and provides long-term storage protection for your documents or artwork.
- Black inner sheets: Each sleeve has a black inner sheet which makes for a great background if your inserted art is smaller than 18" x 24". Not only make your important document flat and wrinkle-free but also let you insert or remove the files fast and easily no matter how often you change the pages.

Thickened and sturdy cover is not easy to crack and keeps your clear sleeves from being damaged. The sleeve protectors are water-proof and dirty-proof.
- Multi-Function: It is not only suitable for long-term storage but also suitable for displaying your paintings, photos, artwork, drawing, stencils. Great gift for students, teachers, office workers, secretaries, musicians, painters, etc.
2. Warhol Art
Warhol Art won the 2026 Webby in the Architecture, Art & Design category for Websites and Mobile Sites. It is a useful example to consider for broader art-and-design presentation, while remembering that the Webby category is not limited to architecture firm websites.
3. The Fabulous and Terrible Real Monsters
This project received the 2026 People’s Voice Winner recognition in the Webby Architecture, Art & Design category. Its status is distinct from the category’s Webby Winner designation.
4. Composites.archi
Composites.archi was a 2026 Webby nominee in Architecture, Art & Design. A nomination is not a winner designation, but the project is another current example from the broader category.

5. Quadplex 80
Quadplex 80 was also a 2026 Webby nominee in Architecture, Art & Design. Consider it as a design-project reference rather than assuming it represents a conventional architecture practice portfolio.
Rank #2
- Come with Black Inner Sheets: Each sleeve has a black inner sheet which makes for a great background if your inserted art is smaller than 11.18" x 17.4". Not only make your paintings flat and wrinkle-free but also let you insert or remove the drawings fast and easily.

6. YODEZEEN
YODEZEEN received a 2026 Webby nomination in Architecture, Art & Design. The nomination places it among the category’s selected work, but does not establish a separate award win.
7. Page
Page was a 2026 Webby honoree in Architecture, Art & Design. “Honoree” is the listed status; it is not the same as the category winner.
8. Rockwell Group
Rockwell Group was a 2026 Webby honoree in Architecture, Art & Design. Its inclusion offers a firm-oriented point of comparison within a category that also recognizes non-firm design projects.

SHM Architects was a 2026 Webby honoree in Architecture, Art & Design. As with other honorees, the recognition is a discovery signal, not a claim of universal superiority.
Rank #3
10. Hugh Strange Architects
Colorlib’s 2026 examples roundup notes that Hugh Strange Architects pairs project names with photographs and supplies each project’s place and year. Those details help a visitor identify what a building is and where and when it belongs, instead of leaving the image to carry the whole story.
11. Sean Godsell Architects
Colorlib highlights Sean Godsell Architects for distinguishing built, under-construction and unbuilt projects. That distinction gives viewers a clearer understanding of a project’s status and avoids presenting proposed work as completed architecture.
12. A student portfolio example
Colorlib also discusses a student portfolio that explains team roles and credits renderings and photographs. For a portfolio involving collaborators, clear attribution helps visitors understand who contributed what and who created the imagery.
13–18. More award-archive and directory discoveries
The Web Design Awards archive and Wallpaper*’s Architects’ Directory are useful places to find additional examples, but the available evidence does not establish six further named websites as winners or as a ranked set of the “best.” The Web Design Awards describes its archive as 10 sites, including 8 recognized winners and Site of the Month selections, and says it reflects nominations published as of October 2026. Wallpaper*’s 2026 Architects’ Directory profiles 30 studios from a range of countries; it is a directory of emerging practices, not a website-quality judging list. Treat these as discovery sources, and verify each site and its current presentation before using it as a design reference.
Rank #4
- 18-Pocket Portfolio Display Book: Each art binder with 18 bound (non-refillable) top-loading clear sheet protectors, letting you show 36 pages of 8.5x11" letter size or smaller. Folder measures 11 1/2" (L) x 9 11/16" (W) x 5/16" (G).
- Tailor-Made Spine Title: You can label and identify your watercolors, sketches, scrapbook, art pieces, sheet music, certificates, and other projects by customizing the reversible spine insert.
- High Transparency & Lies Flat When Open: Our presentation book with crystal clear PP sheet protectors offers complete transparency for checking through and organizing. Bound sheet protector lies flat when open, free your hands.
- Archival Quality & Heavy Duty: Made from durable and light weight polypropylene which is archival quality, acid-free, non-stick, and non-glare, and water-proof. Thickened and sturdy cover won’t easy to crack and keeps your clear sleeves from being damaged.
- Multi-Function: Not only suitable for long-term storage but also for displaying your paintings, photos, artwork, drawing, stencils. Great gift for students, teachers, office workers, secretaries, musicians, painters, etc.
What makes an architecture portfolio website useful?
Give projects context, not just a hero image
A strong project page should make it possible to understand the place, purpose and design response. Where available, include concise project information such as location, date and status alongside the imagery. Nakada Design’s July 2026 roundup emphasizes project depth and context; Colorlib’s examples likewise call attention to project location, year and status.
Make the portfolio easy to scan
Help visitors find work by meaningful categories, such as sector, location or typology, when those distinctions fit the practice. A prospective client may be looking for relevant experience; a journalist or collaborator may be looking for a particular project or body of work.
Distinguish completed work from proposals
Label built, under-construction and unbuilt projects clearly. Sean Godsell Architects is cited by Colorlib as an example of separating these states. The distinction matters because images of a proposal can otherwise be mistaken for a completed building.
Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteUse imagery with care and attribution
A distinctive visual identity can support the practice’s point of view, but images should still be represented honestly and credited. Colorlib’s student portfolio example credits renderings and photographs; the Nakada Design roundup also names photographic honesty as a selection consideration.
Best Value
Serve more than one kind of visitor
A prospective client, journalist, potential collaborator and job applicant may arrive with different questions. Explain what the practice does, make its work navigable, and provide enough information about the people and projects for visitors to decide what to explore next. Nakada Design frames architecture websites as serving business development, recruiting and press needs.
How to judge a site before borrowing its design ideas
Design-award frameworks can help organize a review, but they measure more than appearance. The Web Design Awards lists seven dimensions: User Experience & Strategy; Visual Design & Branding; Content & Storytelling; Accessibility & Inclusivity; Performance & Technical Implementation; Responsiveness & Multi-device Support; and Innovation & Future Readiness. These are useful review prompts, not independently verified performance results for every site in this list.
- Project storytelling: Can a visitor understand the project’s setting, purpose and design response?
- Portfolio structure: Are completed, active and unbuilt projects identified distinctly?
- Findability: Can visitors browse by categories relevant to the practice?
- Imagery: Are photographs, renderings and other contributors credited appropriately?
- Accessibility and responsiveness: Does the site work for visitors using different devices and access needs? Site-specific conclusions require checking the live pages.
- Performance and technical execution: Is the experience practical to use, not merely visually striking? Site-specific assessment requires direct inspection.
The Web Design Awards page describes a 10-site archive with 8 recognized winners plus Site of the Month selections, and says its archive reflects nominations published as of October 2026. Those counts describe that page’s archive, not a measure of architecture website effectiveness.
Where to find more architecture website inspiration
For architecture-specific recognition, the Web Marketing Association’s Architecture category is a direct source. Its 2026 competition has ended, and its One Bangkok Website result is specifically named Best Architecture website. For a wider mix of architecture and design projects, browse the Webby Awards’ 2026 Architecture, Art & Design results while checking whether an entry is a winner, People’s Voice Winner, nominee or honoree.
To broaden a firm-focused search geographically, Wallpaper*’s 2026 Architects’ Directory profiles 30 studios across a broad range of countries. It can help surface practices and project context, but it does not judge website quality. Nakada Design’s July 2026 roundup offers a separate set of practical portfolio-review ideas, with the caveat that it is published by an agency that sells marketing services to architecture firms.
